I AM NOW FILLED WITH SO MUCH LOVE FOR CHIANG MAI'S CENTRAL AIRPORT PLAZA BOOKSTORE. Just when I thought I'd pop in to get a Corel Painter X manual or some such AND THEN my eyes feasted on the HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS BOOKS DISPLAYED ON THE COUNTER. 1250 baht for the adult edition BURNED, oh yes it did, precious, but I had to have it. Had a glorious delicious Korean BBQ lunch with Ma afterwards, where she had to forcibly take the book away from me lest I start reading then and there and we couldn't have gotten home fast enough. Started reading at around 3 and finished shortly before 11, with various food pauses and chores and CATCHING THE CAT who is trying to escape included.



MORE THOUGHTS TOMORROW, I have to get up at 5.30AM for merit-making with Ma so I am heading for the sack now. ...after reading some reaction posts from other people now firssst aaaah am so HAPPY I didn't spoiler myself all too much for this book!

anna just came in, she's still on european time and is wide awake. i told her to be like me for a couple of days, but she vehemently expressed her dislike of my lifestyle...*sigh* there goes all my self respect again.
she wrote you postcards, but hasn't sent it yet, so you'll be getting french post cards from china soon.

LOL I am too lazy to edit my new post but I TOTALLY DID NOT NOTICE THAT LUPIN AND TONKS DIE IN THE END. Such a cop-out, apparently it all happens offscreeena and blaah now poor Teddy Lupin is an oorphan :/

hope you enjoyed your book more than I did, though, because I don't like the ending at all (she spoiled every thing for the ff fandom -.-'' and what's wrong, how could she ever pick the name Hugo??).
