kaiserkuchenThe windows are rattling due to the sheer force of the lovely Wiennese winds now. Woooo~~~ So here's to wondering what odd form the weather will be taking on tomorrow. Whatever will happen, it sure makes me happy that I'm not all that weather sensitive though. I mean, sure I seem to be getting some low-grade headaches lately, but thats nothing compared to the dizzy spells that some people like Astrid seem to have.
Speaking of which, STEP2 Tut was as awesome as usual, turns out Georg did cool down about the fact that some people really fubared their homework assignments and yeah. I have the sneaking suspicion that the really retardedly stupid shit came from group one anyhow (I mean, the assignment was 1-2 pages and someone handed in something that wasn't even a page and had like 10 line spaces even before the first sentence. Creaaative lay-outing, sure). Had some cider and foods at the Highlander pub as usual afterwards, but this time with added creativity in ordering! No more Dolphin bagel for Horst XDD. And the guys have now taken it as their mission to educate me on the finer points of fine austrian cabaret and cinema, so that I can get all the references they seem to bandy around lol XDD Am looking forward to my DVDs already! Also got "Layer Cake" as well, mmmh Daniel Craig~~~ ♥
Nearly fell asleep in Soziologie, but managed to glean enough pre-knowledge about the exam next week. Am not really all that panic-y about THAT one, nope... that honour goes to the big hitters of STEP1 +2 aaaand the 26/1 and the due date of the STEP3 Expose. FUUUCK.
OH and I almost forgot: There was ANOTHER demonstration/protest in front of the Uni today, with the main road even being roped off and surveyed by the police(who looked so damn bored ahaha whut). But of course, the protest as is was totally lame-- only about 100 something people max. and even they were just milling around and waggling flags(with the Anarchy sign even. How fucking quaint) every now and then. They even had a loudspeaker and amps all set up, but did they use them to broadcast what they're protesting? Nooo, they used it to blare weird protest-rock music that sounded like rip-offs of System of a Down. I mean, seriously, waaay to make your cause look pathetic, people! It's not like the topic at hand (the college tuition fees and how the newly elected political party used the promise of abolishing this as a lure for votes and are now waffling on the subject) is irrelevant to the student body! But of course no one will come join the protests if it's all shoddily organized, no big word of mouth advertising and led by a bunch of people, who you honestly NEVER see in lecture anyhow and really just look like the cliche of these wannabe 'hippy' stoner college students who hang around unwashed and in dreadlocks protesting about each and everything on the fucking world. Blaargh.
