Shopping with Dad can be heady in the 'money is not really an object' sense, especially when it comes to A) BOOKS and B) FOOD. Which makes shopping in Siam Paragon basically a stroll in the most decadent gardens of temptation, god. (SCALLOPS FOR FUTURE DINNER, woo!!). He pays for everything, and my vague protests of having parts of the money for stuff I want were thusly overruled. Ah well, that goes in the 'last haul solo shopping-trip' fund then! We managed to hit up Emporium, Central World Plaza and Siam P, not baaad.

HAUL:
_ SEXY BLACK IPOD CLASSIC 120GB, GET! (+clear case, clear foil and all that crap) ...what should I name it? I'm thinking 'THE IMPALA' lol SPN obsession is flaring up again :Db
_ AMERICA (THE BOOK), GET! Jon Stewart and his cadre of The Daily Show writers are just brilliant. The version I got even is the Teacher's Edition (lol) and has great comments and footnotes in the margins written by some professor dude.
_ DRIED PINEAPPLE, GET! This shit is delicious! I don't even like pineapple all that much anymore, but this is cracktastically delish and addictive.

IN OTHER NEWS, I totally need to make a post about the games I've been playing on the DS, which are surprisingly the dinky kiddie ones like Cooking Mama 2, Pokemon Trozei, Warioware: Touch! and New Super Mario Bros. They are just so easy to play for short bursts of time, and I don't need to feel the urge to obsessively save every ten seconds like I tend to do with the PW or FF games. And they are all also quite challenging in their own special ways, which is just the Nintendo DS' way of telling me how shitty I have become in gaming, I guess. What pisses me off the most is the fucking 'put shit in the fridge' step of Cooking Mama 2, though. I NEVER MANAGE TO GET THE HANG OF IT. I guess you have to drag the crap over to make some room, but it never works? Sometime it looks like there is already room for whatever needs to be refrigerated, but nooo. Cue Cooking Mama wreathed in ANGRYYY flames of doom :/. And I bet the answer to this would be really simple, like the times in KHI and II where I could never get the hang of those damn Winnie the Pooh minigames. AHHHH the flashbacks! I will be forever grateful that you helped me out there, Kat! (It was you, right?)

i've been plaing 'we ♥ katamari', altho when i first played it ages ago i gave up very fast coz i'm horrible at it, but now i tried it again and somehow i've improved! ok so it was anna who played the part for me that i just couldn't manage to do (those stupid classrooms in school!) but hey i was the one who helped you with the winnie pooh games, so this way we're all helping each other yays~!

I added CM1 too, but after playing CM2 so much I just can't trade down. DUDE the graphics of the food and shit are so much moaar cuter! And oh god, I would never want to have to pay fullprice for DS games, because then I really would only buy RPGs because I couldnt justify the 20€++ cost otherwise >_>;;
WE ♥ KATAMARI!!!! That's basically what I spent my entire 12 klasse jahr playing kalfalsfkj love it. Have you unlocked all the levels yet? The space music where you roll up the planets and stardust and stars is so damn soothing~ And ahahaha the school level and the tricky cranes! I never managed to get all of them, boo. I liked the Hansel and Gretel one, and the sumo ringer one and the one that is 20 mins long where you can roll up islands! and BUILDINGS! and such things. AHHHH *_*

Speaking of wisdom teeth... I was supposed to get mine taken out this past summer but hooray for going to see the dentist TWO DAYS before heading to the US. Oh, bb. LOOKING FORWARD TO "THE WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL (PART TWO)" I AM NOT.

yeah well, I have those deafness problems on my regular MP3 player too, maybe not as bad as with an iPod but still...

Total steal at 9,900 baht man! The 80GB I was looking at would have been a thousand cheaper (and the 80GB and 160GB are apparently now out of date anyways??) and even moreso compared to the prices in Austria. Saved at least a few thousand baht there, wooo :D

lol, i've improved my katamari skills, but i haven't gotten to the parts yet where i can roll up buildings and islands which sounds awesome and i'm hoping i will be able to do one day!
really, i get exited when i can roll up people and large animals (pandas!)
i liked the sumo ringer and hansel and gretel levels too! basically i love rolling up food~♥

Once you get to that level you can even roll up FLYING HORSES. AND WHALES. AND ENTIRE CAROUSELS. AND FIREY LETTERS IN THE MOUNTAINS!!1 Fingers crossed that you get to experience that awesome, soon!
And kajfh the ZOO level! I hated having to get to those damn monkeys that were really high up on their stupid monkey mountain :(( Rolling up food is awesome because it is like eyecandy without the calorie factor. Have you unlocked the level that is similar to the sumo one but you have to roll up the most expensive shit to save the red pandas? Or the one where you can only roll up cows OR bears? Man that one is really hard XDD

YAYS I GOT TO THE LEVEL WHERE I ROLL EVERYTHING UP! IT WAS AWESOME!! i felt a bit sorry at first for rolling up all the world famous tourist attractions, but then i just rolled it all up♥

ah that cow/bear level SUX! the first 2 times i tried it i bumped into a teddybear or a cone with cowprint and the game stopped after one second! after those tries i did manage to get a bit bigger but now where near big enough as to be able to catch the giant cow-bear.
that level with collecting money...left the fan dissappointed, he said it's not enough and that we're going to have to be satisfied with black and white pandas only. hey i don't know why people aren't worth anything, i love rolling them up!
am currently trying to get better at the level where the i have to get a certain amount of hight by guessing if i'm big/small enough. man, that fan is never satified with me either~ life can be tough as a prince.

Dude for the money level, try rolling into trees when you get a bit bigger-- NINJAS AND TREASURE CHESTS FALL OUT!!!!!111 This still happens when it's the sumoringer essen level too, if I remember correctly. The tree area is where the temple is?? Or just roll into all trees you see man :D

And o god, I can't even remember the level you're talking about--is that the one with the old man and Saturn?? Must whip out some KATAMARI LOVINGS once I get back to the coldness of Austriaaa

NINJAS AND TRESURE CHESTS?? AWESOME! shall try it out next time. altho i've also started to play snowboarding again and there i'm trying my best to NOT drive into the trees...yet i still do every damn time. well, this should be good for katamari then!
