Hey Kat, I finally went on an image!google powered search. Didn't really find much, so apologies for the sometimes tiny pics...
Here you can already see the sheer trippiness that is Gankutsuo. Imagine it animated! (The blue-haired dude is the count, and the boy is Albert)
This tiny pic is Albert up front, lookit his lil' serious face ♥ He even has a beauty mark. Hee...

Now over to Samurai Champloo! This is from the Vorspann, which is one of the most stylish ones I've ever seen, period. Even the rap grows on you after 10 eps or so ^^...
This is Fuu, one of the main trio. She gets the other two to come and help her search for the "Samurai who smells of sunflowers". The reason? It's apparently vaguely hinted throughout the series, but since my "boxset" only went to ep 17, I have no more than vague theories. Argh!
Fuu also is a master eater and has this adorable flying squirrel that's called Momo(=peach)
This is Jin, the bespectacled and cool Samurai-dude. He's the one that had a battle of the wills with a fish in the ep I squeed to you over the phone about! His monotonic voice is really quite hot soothing to listen to.
The guy trying the stylin' glasses on is Mugen, the breakdance-fighting brawler. His fights are just wonderful to watch and he's just fantastic.
