Shopping! and mooore
Aug. 7th, 2005 10:40 pm...and thus, my sojourn as Fashion Coordinator is now OVAAAH! I should think that Ma is now happy with her 5 new tops(found this great lil shop in Siam Square w/ loads of pretty handstitched accents on their tops and nice colours+quality ♥ ) and various accessories. Bought myself some pretty earrings for 180bht aswell. Hee.
Shopping in Siam and the surrouding areas was/is soo much more pleasant than Chatuchak! New, fancy section aside, I was this close towards comitting grievious manslaughter on random strangers yesterday. Argh, my personal bubble of safety!! Although the peoplewatching in Chatuchak was entertaining and distracted myself from planning how to subtly elbow my way through- there are quite an amount of scruffy dudes with afros! :D I am muchly amused...I always though the afro-dude at the music shop near centerpoint was somewhat of an Einzelstueck...(he is the coolest music shop employee evaar)
(The constant renovation at absolutly every mall is irritating though. Is this some kind of pissing competition or are they all nervous that the enormous Siam Paragon is gonna be up and running in November?? Ehh ):< )
Watched "Bend it like Beckham" the other night. Oh Jonathan Rhys-Meyers! One could grate things using his cheekbones! And his irish accent was really appealing... ♥ Which again proves my big tendency to adore guys with accents.OH SAWYER. And the movie was fun and cute and all those nice things. :D
Also got to see "The Island". Oh the matrix flashbacks! Oh the wanton destruction of property in the second half! The explosions! The REAL SNEAKY product-placement! But the scene where Ewan-clone meets Real-Ewan made the whole movie...XD So snarky, so cheeky, so charming! Ewan, you charismatic beast! Excuse me while I swoon plz... 8D
Scarlet Johanson also wasn't hard on the eyes, so yay in general.
...I probably would've hated the movie if not for the casting, come to think of it...
GOAL OF TODAY: SLEEP BEFORE 4AM. Current time: 11:18PM. WE MIGHT JUST HAVE A CHANCE HERE, HOUSTON.
