Ahhhh! BEST HOLIDAY EVER SO FAR! As mentioned in an earlier post, the daily pattern of eating and shopping ad nauseaum is happening every day and whilst a part of me is shuddering at the kilos I will probably gain by the time I fly back, the rest of me is going OOTOYA JAPANESE FOOD, PAPA BEARD'S CHOU CREAM PUFF, OYSTERS, CRAB, DAIFUKU, STICKY RICE, CHICKEN WINGS FRIED WITH LEMONGRASS, ORIENTAL SHOP ICE CREAM, STEAK!!! etc etc :D :D :D
Had a very productive day too, went to the eye doctor and dermatologist w/ Ma, shall be getting my new eyeglasses ordered in a few days! Before that we hit one of the nameless markets scattered between the Office buildings in the Chidlom-Ploenchit-Nana area aaand I totally hit paydirt re:THE CUTEST BALLERINAS(kinda) OF MY DREAMS. In my size(size 9 US/42 1/2 europe), adorable in pink(!!) and in gold aaaah even the fact that they're made out of a weird stretchy plastic is irrevelant! Shall buy some blister plasters and tiny socks and thus I shall be set for rolling... Wore the pink ones for a large part of the afternoon anyhow and felt all ladylike and colour-coordinated with my pink shirt and swishy skirt ♥ Got some 3 lovely singlet tops for all around or under 300 baht, too :D
Dinner was in Gaysorn plaza(Senses cafe-- posh decor and nice thai-inter fusion food!) and earlier on I dragged Ma through the newly renovated World Trade Center/Central World Plaza. Looks hella swanky, the new interior is very light and modern with lotsa open spaces ...though I do mourn the fact that the Zen department store section looks EXACTLY like the department store in Paragon now. Booooring D: Awesome bathrooms there though, done in dramatic!! black and red, with giant "framed' mirrors that beg to be the backdrop of weird camwhoring sessions :D
There is also the distinct possibility that I might be in the background of some thai paparazzi pic of Random Actress chick, as we were on the same escalator with her going up and me going down, avidly stuffing a cream bun into my mouth. Mhh that was a tasty one...
Ahh, how I love the shopping areas in "my" section of BKK! And to think that there is more yet to be explooooored... JOY
Shall be seeing Dad tomorrow for lunch too ♥ (must ask him for more money tooo)
