AHHH THE CLIFFHANGER. That initially made me go: "WHAT THE FUCK, HOW CAN THIS BE OVER ALREADY FFFF". BUT THE BROTHERCLUTCHING WAS GREAT. IT WAS FUCKING FANTASTIC. OH WINCHESTERSSSSS AND YOUR ANGSTY AND GLORIOUS FACES AHHH THE LOVE WAS OVERWHELMING ♥
Yet it felt like there was a bit of a dearth of action throughout the whole ep? I mean, I still spent more than enough time just randomly going "AHHHH! AHHH! AHHHH! at the laptop screen because I was that excited, but compared to the other season finales? BUT. I loved this ep. The reveal of the whole plan! The ~sumptuous~ cell of heaven that locked Dean in and still had cell phone reception at first! The detail of Dean's favorite cheeseburgers everrr + giant crystal bowl filled with beer to lure him! ZACHARIAS YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD!! CASTIEL SERIOUSLY FINALLY FINDING HIS BALLS AGAIN. CHUUUUCK! Trying to order 20 strippers ahahaha. I would almost think that Castiel as is would be as dead as a doorknob (VS. ARCHANGELS?? HMMM), but since Misha Collins is still signed on for some S5 appearances I am relieved. The RUBY REVEAL! Read the comparison to Bellatrix Black in an ep reaction post and ahahaha, it's so truuue. Hahhh, the surprise!effect is kind of tarnished by the fact that lots of people in fandom called it already, but I like how Kripke went there, and it was so very satisfying that SAM AND DEAN banded together to kill her. Now we have the problem again that the female characters are killed off, AGAIN though--- ahhhh SPN, why you do thisss.
YET if I momentarily handwave that aside, ahhh I am so excited for SEASON FIVE. I am SO SO SO curious as to who they're gonna cast as Lucifer, I admit, prior to this ep I was totally expecting Lucifer to rise again in Sam's body. AHH LAST SEASON OF SUPERNATURAL, BOYS BETTER GO OUT WITH A BANG ♥
