TONED oh my god yes, that is a goal to strive for indeed. And re: clothes, I've been spending these three months here in Bangkok totally stocking up on dresses and having the Asian slightly loose silhouette regarding dresses + leggings be my main MO... and now I am totally hoping I can continue to pull it through in Europe because no one runs around like that in Vienna. Having a teeny-tiny BFF does act as a good break for my urges to buy stock in comfortable loose-fitting shirt-dresses though lol don't want to look like a circus tent next to her!
THAT IS SO TRUE ugh all the needling comments, though undoubtedly well-meant, are just more than vague rage-inducing after a while. I get the double whammy of 'oh if you could only do something about your skin again, you're not 16 anymore after all' that makes me twitch. I've just about given up finding jeans or jean skirts in Asia (local brands or copies) though, that is an exercise in frustration I can do without. Ergo the massive dress frenzy lol. I have had good results with just trawling the 'chubby' shops and then just getting the tops&dresses tailored to fit though! So maybe that could also be an option for you? (The stuff is really mostly impeccably adorable there now, too)
OOOOOH HONG KONG? Dude, that sounds most excellent! But yeah, the sizes there were so tinyyyyyyyyyy... even the export shops I hit up in hope of scoring some stuff meant for the "large" European market only had things I could barely squeeze into. And boobage, hips and ass are things to be cherished and accentuated with awesome clothing anyways, so yeah I most definitely agree ♥
