(marathon) ♥! Oh how I loved reading this one, from the way it's set up in "days" of the marathon and the slow build-up and hah- day 7 and 21 are especially awesomely cute~. House/Chase as main pairing, with House/Wilson implied say the warnings.

(diagnosis:Wilson) Another ♥ for this fic because I just adored reading it. When faced with nothing to do, the ducklings/cottages/whathaveyou decide do examine the sickness known as "Houseopothy". Wilson seems to be a sufferer of it. I made unintelligible muffled noises whilst reading this. If that ain't a ringing endorsement, ahahaha~ :D

(duckling meta from hell) The one not-fic on the list. The title says all. Go forth and make hmm-ing noises and nod. I should prolly learn to involve myself more in a show/series/etc than just reading other peoples opinions and going "iiiiinteresting", but ahh well.

(day after yesterday) House and Wilson's first meeting. Imagining House starting out as a doctor is interesting. When watching the show I tended to assume that he's just been there, well, forever, doing his thing.

(goodnight) Another House/Wilson, comfortable and just...right , I guess. The camaraderie and something else between them is nice and apparent here.

(last rites) Dealing with the aftermath of what happens to Chase's dad. Also features Cameron in Australia, but without the urge for me to go plzbegonekthxbai that arises when I see her on the show.

(what is right and what is easy) I shallowly admit that Robert Pattinson as Cedric Diggory in the HP4 movie made me care or be interested more in the character. This Cedric is normal, has a personality, has friends- and you find yourself hoping that it'll all work out until BAM!. Ded. But then that's the thing with fics about characters like this. Great read. Pairings? Cedric/Cho, Viktor/Cedric.

(what you can) Another Cedric fic where the format is part of why when you reach the end you go ksfhlFHL!1. Because, really, arggh. Characterdeath doesn't really have an impact if you don't know much about the character, which was the case in the book version. Or so I felt. This fic also shines with these bits of humor in every section. Even the last one, in a certain black humor way...

(changeling) Gred and Forge childhood fic. The quiet creepiness of this one took a while to dawn on me, because really, it's the Weasleys after all!

(invisible to see) A novel length HP/DM fic, that to be honest, I don't really remember what it was about, save that I finished it with an extremly satisfied feeling and the greatest urge to rec this to Kat ASAP. Yes, I am obviously masterfully talented at this reccing thing *bows*

'Saving Connor'and its sequels To be completly honest, if this weren't recced on

rec_a_day, I would've never given this a second thought, what with the title and the fact of (Slytherin!)Harry having a twin brother who was really the Boy-Who-Lived, the Potters being alive etc etc. But I clicked on the link and two and a half days of extreme binge-reading(the best way to read an epic WIP I believe) later I am caught up to the latest chapter. And AWESOME, UTTERLY FUCKING BRILLIANT is all I can say. Yes, at some points I thought hrmm, Harry seems a bit too powerful, but if you get past that and the author does explain it quite well with this AU!Harry's upbringing, an utterly engrossing read awaits. The way that magic and the pureblood family rituals and magical world politics are described is intensely fascinating and creative, something that only previously really stood out to me in Shadow Of his Wings.
Other things that are wonderful are the speedy updates(damn, this author is cranking them out ridiculously fast, all the while maintaining this impossible great standard and yes I am aware I am gushing like a little girl sarfhsljk;) and the fact that there's still a large part of the fourth year to be written along with the 5th, 6th and 7th are excellent signs of a long and skillfully plotted epic ahead. I am so saving this all on hardcopy dammit! XD SO, uh, if you ever have a LARGE and I mean large block of free time, read this and you won't regret it. I suppose the fact that HP/DM is a pairing later on is incentive as well? :P Ahh, all the Slytherin's are interestingly characterised and Snape! Oh, Snape ♥ This probably ranks up there with Underwater Light, SohW and A Year Like None Other (+more forgotten ones) as my alltime favorite multiparter "epic" HPfics ever...

(welcome to the fallout) How Season 2 could've started. I must say that I liked the second? choice the most, even with the soulcrushing angst it signifies.

Coupling:
Yes, Coupling fic exists! Never had a particular urge to read any, but these were still fun~ Man, the days when UBC still had decent shows, arghfuck asshats the lot of 'em!

(grown men do things together) Yes, they do. (ahh Jeff is mucho crazy and mucho awesome, i remember the one ep when- actually all the jeff-subplots in coupling had crazy happenings ahahaha~ XD good times~)
