kaiserkuchenI must say, I had totally forgotten to check on what was happening with the Ouran manga so far, having stopped reading as far as the published volumes went the last time I was in BKK (volume 8??), but surfing CFO reminded me that YES, there was more and UP UNTIL MID VOLUME 12!!! And lo it was wonderful. Oh, Ouran ♥.
_ THE ART. IS GETTING SO LOVELY. OMG. The way Bisco-sensei draws the boys in side and 3/4ths profile is bordering on deliciously delightful. I SWOON. GUH. And the boys are getting manly proportions, no more shoujo style dude twigs! Well, okay not as much as before/usual, at least.
_ THE PLOTTASTIC HAPPENINGS!! I keep forgetting that Ouran is one of these series that can make me love nearly all of the characters (with exception of possibly the Lobelia crew, but that is just cause they are kind of boring and eh :/). The Kyouya VS Tamaki of the Sportsfestival arc was a hilarious joy to read and cue many muffled squeaking noises from me when it got to the part where Kaoru and Haruhi were flashing back as to what Tamaki was telling them about how he thinks about Kyouya and his 'fiery personality' and how he thought it would be so interesting to have a friend like that and lKFSFSAHjashd!! The sprinkles of foreshadowing! Even with the Mori adopts a Tanuki thing! AND HARUHI being seen by Kaoru as a 'funny raccoon type girl' ahaha so cuuute~~ The whole twins arc seriously made me cry a bit, too... it was handled brilliantly and with Hikaru also showing his bro that they could still become separate individuals without completely severing their ties of 'twin-ness' AHHH you go boy!
AND THE KYOUYA LOOKING FOR TAMAKI'S MOM DURING THE 2ND YEARS FIELD TRIP TO FRANCE (that Tamaki is sitting out at home in Japan ;3; also eeee the bits where he's with his dad and has to figure out what exactly it is that HE himself wants to do... seems to be a prevelant theme for all of the Hostbu boys these recent chapters, eh?) THING OMG OMG OMG NOW THAT IS TRUE LOVE i means saskjaf ahhhh!!!!!!! AND OF COURSE THE CHAPTER THEY HAVE WHERE SHE(!!) FINDS HIM is like in fricken vietnamese so I can't understand jack shit. nooooo .___.
_ ALSO I am A-OK with any and sundry Tamaki/Haruhi shippyness. I JUST WANT THESE CRAZY KIDS TO BE HAPPY~~
_ WHAT IS ALSO AWESOME is how there is a recurring cast! BOSSANOVA-KUN!!!!!!!!!!!! and etc :D
Actually, these past few days have actually been quite good to me in nerd-hobby catching-up-ness. Have been rereading my manga here (GENSHIKENNNNNN ♥) and Youtube is even playing along most of the time so that I have finally finished Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni(CREEPY CREEPY I LOVE RENAAAA CREEPY CREEPY MION AND SHION AAAAH) and Lucky Star (KONATAAAA ♥)!
Oh, and I am starting with Katekyo Hitman Reborn! now and hot diggety, it is SO MUCH FUN. And I am kind of in love with the art. AND GOKUDERA-KUN. AND YAMAMOTO-KUN. Gaaaaah, everyone is just so much fun so far. BATSHIT MAFIA INSANITY A+++
Tomorrow I shall try to make a post about uni things. Hmm~
