kaiserkuchen: (LOL! They be mighty tasty!)

So Carmen and I went to watch ~*TWILIGHT*~ yesterday! I am shocked to say that I actually had a hilarious time of it, and was probably one of the few people in the jam-packed movie theater that kept laughing obnoxiously at inappropriate times (I KEPT SAYING LOL OUT LOUD. I COULDN'T STOP). The guys next to me kept throwing me weird looks, but then they were also kind of in the wrong film methinks, as their pre-movie convo consisted of "Well I don't know much about this movie, but (friend's name) told me 'DUDE YOU GOTTA CHECK THIS SHIT OUT' so yeah, here I am." PRO TIP DUDE: I THINK YOUR FRIEND WAS LYING TO YA.

But seriously, R Pattz is quite hot in this film, even if his SRS ANGUISH faces really do look a bit constipated and I kept thinking of that 'jizzed in my pants' gif at random intervals. Kristin Stewart is like this tiny, pretty porcelain doll that seriously was rivaling the Cullens in paleness at times, and I really liked her German dub. THE CULLENS WERE LOLTASTIC-- the scene in the kitchen! Rosalie breaking the salad dish in poorly disguised RAAAGE! Jasper's stupid faaaaace! Emmett makes my inner-thug-adorer heart all aflutter! VAMPIRE BASEBALL was also more epic than expected, but that was probably due in large to Muse's "Supermassive Blackhole" playing in the background. But they really did not hold back with the white face paint, eh? Carlisle looked especially fake and lame, achhh.

One thing the movie succeeded in doing for me was to really emphasize how LAME some of the fucking book dialogue is/was-- that whole lion/lamb thing? THE SKIN OF KILLER SCENE (srsly wtf he looked more furry to be tbh)?? Ahahahaha I was also constantly thinking of that 300 macro that I apparently don't have saved on my HD :(( And one of the best parts to cackle horribly at was the whole Edward suddenly in Bella's room and Bella going: "Have you been doing this long?" "Not really. Only since the last few months." "(no real reaction" and me and Carmen are all "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU GIRL HOW CAN YOU TAKE SUCH STALKING IN STRIDE AHHH :O" BUT I must say that there were some parts of nice and snappy dialogue that was actually funny.
The end scene where Bella is writhing in pain from whatshisface baddie!vamp's bite in the foreground and said baddie!vamp being incinerated in the background was also a bit distracting, it really did look as if Jasper, Alice and Emmett were frolicking in front of a crackling bonfire lolol.

IN CONCLUSION: More amusing and entertaining than I had originally expected, though I could never go watch it with someone who honestly thinks that is some great of great work of art, because Not Mocking as I watch would be far too hard XDD

After that, Carmen and I decided to take up Clemens' offer of beer and popped by his place for a quick visit that should've not ended later than 2AM (it was currently 11PM when we came outta Twilight). WEEELL SO MUCH FOR THAT, WE ENDED UP WALKING HOME THIS MORNING AT 7 FUCKING AM. I have never been up for so late since ages, and I was flagging like hell ever since the 4AM mark, but in a retrospective case of hilarious failure to communicate, Carmen and I both thought that the other wanted to stay longer and didn't want to be the dick who breaks up the impromptu session we had going there. Had some fun convos with Clemens, who was a lovely host constantly providing us with nibbles and alcoholic beverages and we watched various youtube clips and The Onion Movie, which was crass yet oddly hilarious. STEVEN SEGAL AS THE COCK PUNCHER!! MELINDA CHERRY! And that one outtakes scene with the kittens in batter, lolllll. Tried to make our way through The Golden Compass too, but I had to jump ship at that point as I was about this far from falling asleep on the spot and we both didn't want to spend the night/morning at Clemens' place. He was getting a bit touchy-feely with Carmen on the bed and it was high time for both of us to bail (I was on the beanbag on the floor next to them, an obviously superior place to be, imho :DD).

AND THEN I WOKE UP AT 2PM TODAY AND THE PINNACLE OF MY ACHIEVEMENTS SO FAR HAVE BEEN a)SWITCH ON LAPTOP, b)TYPE SHIT ON IT AND c)MAKE FOOD AND EAT IT. Tomorrow doesn't look all too bright either, daaaaaaaaaaaaammit self! This is why I never go clubbing anymore (besides the fact that that shit is heavy on the cashmoney)-- you just get so fucked the entire day after and are utterly useless

Charlie was a happening dude! I just was kind of lolling at the excessive perfectness of Jacob's hair sometimes though, that just looked so unnaturally neat at times.

(I've heard of Twin Peaks via pop culture osmosis, but never really got around to watching it. The only David Lynch stuff I did see was Mulholland Drive though and maaaan was that a confusing viewing experience)

...I think I convinced my friend to download it for us already uhuhuhu *can't wait to get it*

Awesome, on the pop culture osmosis thing with Twin Peaks. I honestly haven't seen a Twin Peaks reference in pop culture for years.

David Lynch: If you ever get a chance to see Inland Empire, DON'T. It was like three hours of watching David Lynch masturbate with a handicam D: He takes pretentious art student to new heights. However, DO watch his awesomely awful version of Dune; that's all sorts of fun. It has Sting, sporting the most uncomfortable looking speedo ever.
