A smidge of progress? (Still filled with haaaaaaaaaaaate though)

After nearly two weeks of blessed non-Sabrina-ness, she hath returned since a few days ago. And already I am being driven to heights of irritation from her conduct, and I guess there is also the residual annoyance of the state of things last week before cleaned them. The hairy and suspiciously be-liquided fridge, the grime-tastic state of the showers, you name it. And now the hair in the sink, and the presence what will no doubt be the usual scattering of what could be termed food rests and crumbs in the sink and surrounding areas, clogging up the drains. So I plucked up my reserves of indignation, and set to talk to her briefly about things.

And of course, all my cutting arguments, valid reasons and just pleas for sanitation became pale whispers and awkward stammerings when faced with her blank, unimpressed face. And of course, the bald-faced denial that I really should know how to deal with by now, but of course let go unchecked. How could she answer "what did you do to the fridge that caused it to look like that" with "well, I don't know what you're talking about. I clean it, too, and I must have overseen it, then." WELL DAMN, YOU "OVERSAW" STREAKS OF BROWN GOO? ENCRUSTED FAT OR WHATEVER THAT WAS HUGGING THE GRATES? YOU MUST BE BLIND, I GUESS THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. So, all in all I guess that was another resounding failure in: Attempts to Negotiate with Slobs Part XIV-BILLIONTY, and I await what her next volley of filth will be. I saw that she has placed her own toothpaste on the counter, but still, mine remains ~*weirdly*~ moved from it's precise position every time I am in the bathroom after she's been in there. I think I need to hide my facewash or something, if this goes on. OH APATHY GOGGLES, PLEASE SWITCH ON AGAIN, I am feeling oddly all out of sorts because of this gaaaaaah I cannot have my own place too damn soon.

In other more pleasant news, am making slooooooow headway with the interview transcriptions, and hopefully will have them all done and at least a few pages of ACTUAL THESIS CONTENT by this Sunday! There is still time, I just have to remember that I finished my BAKK1 Thesis in basically two weeks and that managed to work out somehow (okay, that was also due to cheshire_tabby's mindblowing beta work mainly ♥). DEEP BREATHS.
Apparently I will also be out for a Girls Night Out with some friends of Wido tonight, we will be hitting up an Australian Pub, and I for one am intrigued. And already confused about how the best way for me to get home from that corner of town will be. UGH I HATE RUNNING AROUND TOWN ALONE AT NIGHT :///

Things that have been unbelievable in cheering me up and distracting me from my woes are the following YT clips, that I will be embedding behind the cut in all their glory.

...FACT: I NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE, pronto. Colin Firth, Matthew Goode, Lee Pace, Nicholas Hoult AND Julianne Moore (who looks ravishing in that 60s get-up)? COLIN FIRTH AND MATTHEW GOODE AS GAY LOVERS? Y Y Y Y, plz. And seriously, it looks gorgeously shot and I love how the trailer uniquely just omits the dialogue and has that ever so slightly creepy and unsettling score playing.

...watching certain Glee preview clips on repeat led me to check out some RL glee and acapella acts on YT and this one was one of my favorite finds. CARRY ON MY WAYWARD SON, HELLO. Supernatural has pretty much ingrained me to have this Pavlovian reaction of EEEEEE to this song, lol. I uh, would ignore the choreography, I guess, but it is really a lovely arrangement re: the music.

...I love their outfits, and this is also a pretty neat version of the Grizzly Bears song "Knife".

...The soloist of this group is insanely good, and I love how catchy this song is. Which made me look the original up, and ahahahaha it was PARAMORE?? Which I guess is kind of uncool to like, and I really do think that the visual appearance of that band is Trying Too Hard, but I cannot deny that their songs are super catchy to me ^^

ALSO I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT TOO MANY "QI" CLIPS BECAUSE STEPHEN FRY IS KING OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND BRILLIANT AND I WILL NOT LOOK AT THEM AGAIN BECAUSE I WILL BECOME DISTRACTED AGAIN. Actually typing this post has been distracting enough, fuck better get back to transcribing. Will answers comments and such when I get back tonight, expect slightly tipsy bullshittery, IDK XDD

I HOPE SO TOO. Though lol I've noticed that she now has a family package of tissue paper near the toilet now... is this her way of trying to not use my toilet paper like usual? Could this be... progress? And if it is, why is she still somehow allergic to buying normal toilet paper like all other human beings?? Ahhh, she be crazy :|

SHE NOW HAS SIX SEPARATE TOILETRY BAGS FLYING AROUND THE BATHROOM. How can someone have so many? And she hoards empty bottles. But not in the recycling way, more in the "I seem to not know why I am keeping these things" way. If only I was a psych major?? AND I HOARD TOILET PAPER LIKE IT'S GOLD, so it always seems to last me ages :Db

It's due by the end of October, but as that is a Sunday, I will probably send an email off to wrangle for the 1st or 2nd of November, because I need to print it out and bind it and shit. Am on the second to last interview, saving yours for last ♥ and my current interviewee (a friend from BKK) has a really weird speaking cadence that I didn't notice before that is making it strange to transcribe as I type, grr.

What. WHAT. WHY? What does she keep in these toiletry bags? I mean I probably have three . . . at HOME . . . but that's mostly because I keep forgetting to unpack them, and most of them have jewellery instead of toiletries in them. o_O Maybe she has a lot of makeup?? JUST TO EMPHASIZE THAT I DO NOT DO SUCH THINGSSSSS and lol tbqh you are one of the interviewees where I will have no problems writing about because you have such perfect, ready to quote blurbs in your transcription. SO AWESOME. And you were one of my most smoothest transcribing experiences, give or take a few breaks I could actually listen to it and type simultaneously lol my typing speed has improved from an average of 59-62 WPM to 68-71WPM now lol

It was so hilarious, you could really spot the Australians there from like 50 paces (the barefoot, tanned and singlet wearing dudes XDD). The bar itself had some pretty intriguing shots, too-- especially their uh, famous one that they dedicated to Heath Ledger... the "cock-sucking cowboy". Yeaaaaah >_>;; My friends told me that it was quite delish though, w/ Bailey and all that.

Nee, I think it was called ...........uh. Well shit, I have no idea what it was called (Aussie travel shack??) It was a bit off the oberes Mariahilfer, kind of across the Ibis hotel. Walked back from there to the Volksoper MAAAAAAN did my feet hurt after that XDD I confess that insects are a never food for me, though it's good to know that they are technically tasty XDD

SERIOUSLY, it already serves me pretty well at parties and for random smalltalk lol just have to make sure I don't work myself up into rants, and just dole out the choicest tales of wtfery~~
