Have survived the WERB exam! That actually turned out to be kind of a let-down regarding the type of questions they ended up asking. Thought it would be some hardcore neurobiological emphasis and thus droned that into my brain, only then to be stumped by the finer details of consumer profiling. Cribbed a bit from Phil, including some wrong answers D'OH!!, but I hope it will all total out to be a passing grade. God, if I fail another exam it will be fucking mortifying >_>;;

I now have less than 24 hours to cram Intro to Psychology II into my brain for the exam tomorrow morning. JOY JOY JOY.

Have been gleefully spoiling myself about the three new eps of S3 Supernatural so far and AHHH NEED EPS NOW TOO. Especially this third ep 'Bad Luck at Black Rock' sounds like SO. MUCH. FUN. *thrashes*

And now in a random roommate bitchery aside: HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ONE PERSON TO GO THROUGH AN ENTIRE ROLL OF TOILETPAPER IN LESS THAN ONE DAY? Does Sabrina clean the bathroom with it? Does she wash the fricken dishes with it?? FUSHIGI MYSTERY. I have put one more roll in and hot damn, if that one is used up in the same speed as it's predecessor I will switch back to the totally lame strategy of bringing my own damn TP in every time I use the bathroom. I mean, shit it is totally retarded but buying the stupid rolls costs money too! And this has furthermore cemented my resolve to keep the maxi bottle of dishwasher in my room. The weather now is also very cold. Damn biting winds! BUT I have bought me a warm waterbottle thingie (in HOT MAGENTA, sweeet) and shall be hopefully in warm bliss this evening~~ TAKE THAT BACKPAINS!!

SOOOO it turns out that after an illuminating talk with Miss Wallner~ I am faced with the choice of either completely redoing my approach to the IKEA thing-- ie. analysing an advertising campaign or sticking with the Superbrands angle I had, which is apparently a)too BWL orientated, b)WRONG, c)WRONG oh and d)there are two of your 8 hypotheses that miiiight work, but you need a minimum of 3 Forschungsfragen with about 2-3 hypotheses each and overhaul what you've thought of your project so far; so in conclusion: WRONG.

JOY.

Which brings me to now where have been trawling youtube for (german!) IKEA commercials that whilst kinda hilarious seem to actually have all been BANNINATED and NOT APPROVED from the IKEA in Sweden, which is greaaat.

BUT FINALLY I FOUND A LIST OF CLIPS. SOMETHING AT LEAST. THANK YOU, ENGLISH WEBSITES. Damn, these german sites just couldn't bring it. For shame IKEA Germany and Austria!! (I still hope the austrian branch will reply to my email though! I need some offical IKEA shiznit too, as Wallner is a bitch(moreso than usual) about where we get our resources. :/
Off to further check them out, hopefully pick one or two good ones and prep new hypotheses and such again(THIRD or FOURTH TIMES THE CHARM EH??) so that I can go to the braiiiin trust dinner with Karim later(less that two hours fuuuck) and we can hopefully help each other and/or curse Wallner to the deepest pits of academic HELL.

...three more to go! AAAAAAH SOZIOLOGIE WAS AN AMBUSH OF O-SHIIIIIT PROPORTIONS. I mean, so here I thought that I was more than adequately prepared for the exam, right? I read the 10 chapters countless times, could cough up a few dates and names and figured that the exam with it's 10 TRUE or FALSE questions would be doable... WRONG. The questions were so left-field at times, I mean hoooly shit. "Is Garfinkel the father of the [X] theory?"(I'VE NEVER HEARD OF HIM BEFORE), "Is the Club of Rome Prognostic a Delphi-based study?" and other such questions that pertained to things I SKIMMED, as I figured that they wouldn't be important. AHAHAHAHA GOOD ONE. And just guessing at random was also out of the picture, as for every correct answer you get 1 point, but every WRONG answer leads to minus two. There was also the option of three extended answers questions, that if answered correctly would give your final grade a one-up and I was on that option like white on rice fo' sure!
Soooo if all goes well I either would have JUUUUST made it with 5/10, or best case scenario 6/10 ...or I could have also failed with 4/10. AHHHH. Shall find out on monday (which is also another Big Relevant Exam Day woes)
Also I was sitting next to a SUPAA genius who didn't seem to get the fact that we got handed two very different test sheets and kept trying to poke me so that she could cheat off me or even better, whisper the answers to her. I mean, uhhh whaaat? I've only just met you five minutes before the exam and already I am expected to help you cheat? HAHAHA GOOD ONE. Some people!
Wonder if she did copy my answers tho lolol...


BUT in better news I at least have an A/1 in my comics tutorial~~ 91 points yay ♥
Horrrrst was sadly sick today but Flo came back and we had retarded fun roleplaying as Americans in the year 1941 faced with the mammoth task of controlling the media output. Not as much fun as Harry's group had with the Nazi's though-- "*fake broadcast voice* Comrades! We are the BNSDAP-- the BETTER Nationalsozialistische Partei". Hee~~
AND I finished TWO Forschungsfragen for STEP3 bullshit! THERE IS HOPE FOR ME YET~ (here's to hoping that Wallner doesn't shoot these new questions down too grrrrthatbitchihaaaaateher DD:)

So I have been home since 1PM and have parked my ass in front of the desk glutting myself on the last of the Heroes eps(have ep 11 part 2 loading) and am feeling the urge to erect a shrine to Masi Oka or something, good lord Hiro is the best everrr ♥. Mohinder, though also pretty, bores the shit out of me though, as do bits of Niki's story buuut am v happy otherwise :D

Got to talk to Jule W whose utter hopelessness at academic planning(she has to finish a 20-page expose on something she hasn't even found a topic yet. When is this due? ON FRIDAY... Yes)and it actually made me feel a lot better about my state of affairs and I figure I'll try and get cracking once the eps are finished and maybe crash at 11PM or something. Feel so fricking tired...

But it is otherwise really horrendously warm all of a sudden, and man, I never thought I'd see the day when 12 degrees suddenly counts as kinda warm in my book and the weird winter-spring sun even wants me to pack out my sunglasses (THE LIGHT, IT BURNNNS). I mean, I'm cruising without my legwarmers, mittens or wooly hat and I'm still find. Ahh one can get used to anything I guess :/

But at the moment I am still jittery and hyped up for some reason. Today was mostly taken up with the awesome that is IKEA Vösendorf and the gigantic journey it takes to actually get there, which is one of the things I will never understand about European cities and their need to put sprawling shopping complexes in the middle of freaking nowhere. There is something wrong when you actually have to get in a TRAIN to go to the Shopping City Süd, instead of there being a bus or tram or god knows what. We(being Anja, Carmen, Judith! and me, since Fabian is a laaazy dude who wanted to go home and sleep after 8AM Soz.Psych. I WONDER WHY ...he's also a kinda pessimist to talk to re:uni and Wiennnna in general. Ahh, boy have we got our work cut out with you!) got quite the haul and I was happy to finally get some of the stuff off my to-do list! Just that the way back kinda sucked cause the already chilly at 8 degress weather took a turn for the OH FUCK worse when it started to raaaaain like the dickens. Icy, icy droplets of DEATH! :/

And by the time we all were back we were all wet and tired so we parted ways home again and I came back to my room mate fanatically cleaning the kitchenette and bathroom(she's getting a 'visitor' tonight so it seems~) and I just kinda sacked in bed from 3 to 8PM. With my new pillow~

May tomorrow be another okay day! May Georg not kick my ass for not having the essay already sent to him 3 hours ago, or like DONE AT ALL! And may Sociology prove to be interesting for the second class running as this time Carmen won't be there with me 'cause she's getting a visitor too D: *is jeaaaalous*

Weeell! VIENNA was nice and warm, crashing at Robert´s place was fun, even if I got a hell of a back pain from his and Valeria´s squishy couch... Got my all important shiny new baby Sony VAIO laptop too(named Tidus :DDD... figured that naming it Roxas(cause the external harddrive is red=Axel hur hur I r witty) wouldn´t be so auspicious re:memory issues and ahahaha I´m corny, yesss). And my new handy is a thing of beaaauty and has now permanent residence in the pockets of whatever I might be wearing now ♥ Sorry Nokia, for cheating on youuuu, but damn if that pink Motorola Razr(I think you have the same one too, Mone?) ain't a sexy piece o' machinery! Will have super speshul pics of dumbassery uploaded soon for you Kat~

Oh and I am finally inscripted(just waiting for the last laaast pack o' important papers from uni now, grr) so yay for a basically bumpfree start into my soon to be uni life? Eventhough the guy at the inscription office was a royal ass, but Robert says thats to be expected.
Vienna as a city is actually quite pleasant, I am VERY suprised to say. Everything is so easily-accessible it seems, great public infrastructure ...and maybe this is over ten years spent in asian big cities talking, but I am actually vaguely uneasy walking the pavements because its all so damn FLAT and spacious and there are next to no stands you have to dodge to get past. Eerie, I tell you!! Here's hoping the positive impression lasts even into the deep dark and freezing winter/autumn/all times that are under 30 degrees celcius months!

...and now KRIMML, on the other hand...is FUCKING COLD. And by that I mean basically two weeks now of weather that has been constantly raining 24-7 a la european dauerregen, and the temp never really rising beyond the toasty mark of 14 to 15 degrees celcius. In fucking August, SUMMER, on the heels of non-stop SUN the month before. WHY WHY MUST I BE CHEATED OUT OF MY GLORIOUS FEW DAYS OF SUMMER?? D: ...but am as of yesterday at least armed with more long sleeves shirts, jackets, rollpullis and this awesome fantastic green/olive military style jacket! IT IS WARM and like the tiny ones I tried in vain to put on in BKK and HK. A silver lining in the cloud of freezing death, if you must.

But uh, at least I am quite far with some video games and DVDs now that I have not my daily dose of sweet sweet net? (Seriously it burrrrrns I need constant net again stat! Oh how I wish I didn't have to pace myself and tactfully look for an oppurtunity to ask Silvia if I can use her net... kjafhskfhkjhk arrrrgh)
Suikoden V is GENIAL-- Prince is so cute! And Omg Serious Plot and tiny details that suck me in hard like BUYING FOOD SUPPLIES and trading stuff...it's like a taste of Harvest Moon there, sweeet~ And I am being rampantly amusing myself by imagining Prince in suspicious and perverted happenings with random hot characters, ahh the easily amused fangirl mind! But seriously, it's a great game and seems like there's a lot of fun stuff to do within...am already only just 13 hours in and damn, addicted!(okay I thought that at the 4 hour mark, whut) ...even if there should be a map mode...get lost far too damn easily. ...oh and Kat? Wtf the first screenshot with the bath you posted! Aahahaha I haven't even gotten there yet but am sure as hell looking forward to it now! :DDD And blond dude with girly hair is Kyle-- who is very hot and current placeholder in my head for funtimes with Prince. Yeaaah yeah, he 'loves the ladies', but who could resist the Prince?? :3
Wild Arms 4 is confusing me with the actual quite simple, I'm sure, puzzles ...but have now downloaded the walkthorough (ohoho) so hopefully thats that.

Oh and Veronica Mars=LOVE ...why wasn't season 2 out as DVD yet in BKK?? *woes*

...and it is now ending the span of my net time ...and have I used this time to write a nice long email to people? Noooo, of course not! And my Ishida shipping tendencies will FOREVER be skewered in your favor! ;____;), saved a shitload of Suiko and etc walkthroughs and most of the missed Hug!Draco fic ....and sat down to write this rambly entry of course!
Kat am sorry I didn't get to reply to yours but I read them and flailed about in my (borrowed) chair and WAAAAARGH you talk of lovely things like Ouran eps that I haven't gotten to see yet~~ *envies* ...will have a lovely marathon to look forward to, I guess?
