Wheeew~! One done ...a bunch left whut. Ever have that feeling when you know all the correct text interpretation points, yet everything you write sounds horrifically lame? Yeah well that was me today >____<;; SOMETIMES okayoften I hate the german language. But! Day off tomorrow, only have english finals on thursday and woot friday's gonna be off again, too.

SO anyways! Comicon '06 at some meeting Hall at St.Louis Hospital last Sunday! (dunno why a hospital but yeah)
Met up w/ Ginger first and spent a while walking around the hospital grounds looking for said mystery meeting hall until we found Cosplayers! and thusly stalked them to great victory! And then we had to walk up 11 flights of stairs because the tiny lifts were overfilled but we prevailed! For great dojin-buying sake~
Place was packed, random schmucks like us, cosplayers, cosplayer assistants etc all milling about or waiting in line. I was immediately sent in my first semi-squeeing fit seeing the door-standing person dressed up as Roxaaaas, which was a fitting prelude to the entering of the hall~

THE HALL:
Heh! It can be safely said that the maaaajor major thai fandoms represented here dojinshi-wise were Deathnote and Fullmetal Alchemist, with Gundam Seed and Prince of Tennis making their presence felt at some booths, plus some girly series for the guys to perve over... Naruto was scattered around here and there and of course(??) Harry Potter was representin' too~ XDD KH2 seemed to be the newbie/dark horse on the block but! Mhhh looked good to me~ And of course it was all fandoms ever for the keychain-sections~
Some noticably awesome cosplayers were the gazillion Riku's (One had a micky mouse fuzzy hat on!!), the MGS military crew, some Ed Elrics, The Ouran Kokou Host Club(♥), Vincent Valentine... but my personal favorites were the Ishida/Ichigo duo, plus weapons! and the KH2 booth that were all dressed in these really nice looking Organization XIII cloaks~ ♥

THE SCHWAG:
Ginger and I mangaged to score a lovely haul, totally to about 2500 baht spent in total for both of us~
_KH2 DOJIN "TWILIGHT SHOW" FROM MIIST:(over whom I squeed about in THIS post...other series/artists art recs there too if you hadn't seen it yet!) ....THE COVER IS SO HOT AND IT IS SO FUNNNNY AND BEAUTIFUL AND I'm sorry I'm still stuck on that fact and ahahaha Xigbar and Demyx 'counseling' Axel on how to win/get Roxas back from Twilight Town** and there are references to the missing pictures(AXEL'S EXPRESSION HEE) and Roxas: Super hot ice cream presenter extraordinaire(the sea of fangirls!)!!.... Oh maaan! THE LOVE! I can't wait for the next installment~ Best amount of money I've ever spent on a dojinshi, it now ranks up higher in the glee of my heart than the smutty pretty FMA Roy/Ed dojin I found at WTC ♥ ♥~ I NEED MORE OF HER WORK

_KH2 Dearly Beloved- Sora: (By eguana) This one WON for sheer omg!effect with the design of the dojin- There was this metallic emboss of the title stylised heart, a slighty waxy? paper before the actual dojin and a free Oathkeeper bookmark! BEST sword in KH ever ♥ And the story was adorable too, Roxas and Sora and Destiny Islands OT3 in the end yaaay :D

_PoT InuKai Dojin by RANS!!: Seriously, oh scoooore~ Rans is such a crazy awesome artist and I am extremely in a happy place for getting my paws on her stuff ♥
_HP Assorted Dojin by Happy Family!!(one of the most famous HP thai circles iirc): Finally had enough money this time to buy 'Garden'(Harry/Draco and the magic feelings flower that kinda brings them together) and some other Marauders dojin (The Marauders start a band! Little Red Riding Snape, chibi style--god I wish I bought that too so cuute!, James/Snape...okay they pretty Snape up like whoah but shuush it's Happy Family and oh shit! gorgeous art ♥)... and we got bookmarks as freebies too~!
_FMA Ling/Ed smut: ...okay I admit I only bought this cause the cover was extremely pretty and by the time my brain caught up with the rest of me I had already handed over my money XDD Trigger-happy at cons I am, yes :D

+ random keychains aaargh I regret not buying a Roxas or Axel one (got Sora instead)!

ETC:
I wish there was more fun unique idea merchandise tho- like in November last year where this one booth sold Icha Icha Paradise formatted blank notebooks! But the tiny Deathnote replica keychains were quite ingenious too~
There should've been a booth selling some simple totebags though, we weren't the only ones lugging our loot around and there is potential cash to be made here! I mean, some cheap plain totes +Silk screen motives, maybe embellish a bit and WHAM! Bag! Money earned!

Have been eking out my existance on a day to day basis- never knew that living with Ma and Andy in the same apartment could make me feel so claustrophobic and unfocussy (too many shiny distrations! No quiet corners!). But, ahh there are good points to it and fun points to it and hopefully shopping shall commence on saturday...

Mangawise everything is Great-O! Got to read Karekano volumes 16-19 in Kinokuniya Paragon(OMG I had to put v 16 down and blink profusely for a moment there, waaah Arima and ach Yukino for crying for him and *waaah* I need this now so I can just relish the reading experience and flail about in emotionaler Gefangenheit), Beck 21, assorted BOOM, Naruto 30, NODAME CANTABILE 1 OH YES SCORE found it today wheee ♥!! ...etc[tons forgotten here] and assorted B-Love ones too, some of which are quite adorable and pretty~

...And I even was asked by this (obviously gay judging by his slight makeup and shorty shorts ensemble XD) teenage dude which of the B-Love manga I would reccomend! Rattled off a few as I browsed through and ...hah I ended up with like 6 whereas he just took one. Ah well~ XDD

Johann is playing KH2 now aswell and he has vowed to finish the game before I do! (Have to finish some tasks/Colliseum battles for the sekrit ending whut) ...Hurr hurr I shall have to remember to ask him what his straight male gamer perspective on Axel/Roxas is when he gets to the later FMVs~~ ♥ Although he does already know my stance towards it XD

Reasons why today can be classified as Awesome:

- managed to get double allowance from parents (hah)
- Andy had muffins made for breakfast ♥
- missed freak torrential downpour by about five minutes, (haah x2)
- got to go to town and meet up with Ginger(=MANGA SHOPPING :DDDD)

->one le swanky lunch in Siam Paragon(THEY HAD PIMPIN' CHAIRS and we were like the only guests there= A+ waitstaff attentiveness~), with a pact being made to always meet up in Paragon and eat our way through the gazillion restaurants there~!

->FOUND HEAVEN ON EARTH AKA KINOKUNIYA THAT IS AS LARGE AS FUCK ALL, ironically when we were wandering about looking for Asia Books and OMG IT IS QUITE POSSIBLY MORE SPECTACULAR AND MINDBLOWING THAN THE PERFECT KINOKUNIYA OF MY DREAMS IN TAKASHIMAYA, S'PORE!! Books! As far as the eye could see!

And most importantly: The manga section!! Seems like the entire fucking selection of Tokyopop was here right all this time! And how I had just written down the manga I wanted from Ma's US trip! Nodame Cantabile! Ouran Koukan Host Club! Petshop of Horrors! Perfect Girl Evolution! Old skool loves like Angel Sanctuary! Things I read in thai already! Things I am forgetting but were nonetheless very squeeworthy!
BUT ALSO: ARTBOOKS! The entire Salty Dog line! Peacemaker Kurogane! Yuu Yuu Hakushou!Gankoutsuou!!
...but the series that got GINGER "shushing" me for my reaction...highly ironic considering we were both talking really loudly and exitedly ---okay so I was hopping a bit when I saw it--- KAREKANO IN ENGLISH, VOLUMES 1-21 MOTHERFUCKING YESSSSSS!!! 8DD *victory dances*
...but of course then reality had to burst my bubble of GLEE with the pricetag of 400Baht per volume so waaah had to decide for one for now- took volume 15, as it seemed to have the 'interesting' bits of Arima slowly losing it...

-and there was the other stuff, got La's present ordered, shall send next week, got some more affordable thai manga, bought a deliriously ADORABLE Gwendal von Walde keychain(♥) and got to go to the hotel early, thus having dinner at Henry J. Bean's= LAMB CHOPS woo~

In conclusion: Parents, I want Kinokuniya gift vouchers for my birthday plz *puppy eyes* XDD

Have been rereading this weeks BOOM and with it the 168th Eyeshield 21 chapter, the one that's all in colour? HOSHIT SO PRETTY~~ I really like how the artist's style has progressed(can never remember his name whut)- his lineart is detailed as heck, the perspective is mindblowing and one of the things that makes ES21 worth reading even if you don't care about American Football... AND THE COLOUR ART IS ♥! It's just so damn vibrant, the colours seem to pop! from sheer in your face factor and it's a beautiful thing to see. Another thing is that I adore the fashion spin he takes on things- Mamori's new haircut! Her entire outfit! Riku in his jeans jacket looked good as well, same for new!chara dude (Marco?)... Musashi's hair, now, is a wholly different matter *cringes even thinking about it*

...am great big fashion 'ho deep down, what can I say~

Dad finally admitted that Dog is getting a wee bit chubby and a new "strenous physical excercise regimen" is being implemented. Heeee~~

Went and consoled myself at MBK- materialistic shopping orgys heal NEARLY all wounds of the heart after all ♥

FINAAAAALLY found Katamari Damarcy, DDR Strike, DIGITAL DEVIL SAGA 2 IN ENGLISH and Devil May Cry 3 extended version for Johann(you can play as Vergil! Hot)~~ Oh this is something to dust off the PS2 for, been feeling a bit lethargic towards it re:games I wanna play...

Got some movies too- Saved!, Zoolander(A CLASSIC) and Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas- a movie that Marco glowingly recommends "where these two reporter guys go and take like ALL DRUGS ever, it's good shit man!!"...

And of course there were mangas bought- new BOOM, Trinity Blood 3, Air Gear 11, Hanakimi 17 and random yaoi comic1 & random yaoi comic2 or "Sensitive Pornographer" as it is called. Smutty yet cute ♥

Am also now typing this on teh shiny new 19" screen that Andy bought for the computer- hooooly fuck it's HUGE and SHINY AND HOT ♥ Would be perfect to do Photoshop on and just be productive in general :D

Feeling quite okay now, eventhough deadlines are still looming, but fuck that for now~ :D

Got "Blade of the Immortal" from Johann, read it behind the covers during english(yes am sneaky like NINJA), am muchly innerested. Rin is nifty, Makie is hot and skillfull and I want a scarred, cranky undead older brother-figure like Manji, too ♥
Also: random reason why I adore Johann sometimes- he ponders things like which guy in school he'd most likely wanna HYPOTHETICALLY go out with if he were HYPOTHETICALLY a girl. XDDD Answer: Andreas when he's "older". I'd tap that, too :3. We agreed as ell that Lukas? Not a Hot Blond ahahaha~ ♥

Watched "Footloose" again, and everytime I watch this damn movie I like it more and more. It grows on me like fungus! Young!Kevin Bacon as the rebellious city kid who comes to hick town XY and DANCES! AND DOES GYMNASTICS! HOSHIT :D. Also Sarah Jessica Parker's character is called Rusty hahaha.

Have been plowing my way through a load of manga these past few days, and I especially shouldn't be allowed to go shopping with Ginger for we enable each other to buy far too many gay comics XD. Must get back to her and compare notes on the series we spilt each other to buy soon :3

Saiyuki Reload 1-4: Got to d/l this online and akljalsrj WHEN WILL THIS BE TRANSALTED IN THAI I want to hold this in my hand when I read it! Saiyuki just always keeps it coming with plot, kickass charas and dear god the art has reached a pinnacle of beautiful awesomeness. You just cannot compare volume one of Gensomaden with Reload, the sheer improvement! Oh man ♥ Also, owning the Salty Dog artbooks is a goal I intend to realise aswell~. Loved all the different arcs, the Yakumo one, SANZO BACKSTORY, more about Ukoku and Koumyou and ahhhhhhhhh ♥! Have seen local copies of what is called the "Saiyuki" movie. Could it be Requiem? The covers all wrong though, all ca. volume 3 manga volume artwork. Shall hafta buy and see and hope for the best then~

D.GrayMan 1-2: Was waiting for this to come out in volume format- Hate the other series in C.Kids too much to only buy it for D.GrayMan's sake. Well, for one I adore the art, the semi-cute victorian feel the series has, even the similarity to Takeshi Obata's style. Allen seems to be one of these compassionate main chara's that while I do admire them, prolly won't be my true favorite character(although his demon-face design is hella cool and ooh, when he's all pissed off....okay I do like him a lot hrmph) That slot went to Kanda in the very first panel he appeared in. So pyschotically bitchy! His facial expressions are a delight to watch ♥. Komui seems fun aswell~. And the Earl is fucking creepy, that must be said, too. Can't really say much about the plot yet *shrug*, but until then, I'm in for all the eyecandy, unf ♥

Fullmetal Alchemist 12:Oh fuck I love this series. Screw the anime, give me the manga any day- And to think I never expected it to be so good. The plot truly in continously awesome and suspenseful, the characters so expressive and I especially liked how the sense of helplessness against the Homunuculi is heightend in this volume, or at least the pressure that Roy and his crew are facing. Because yeah, Gluttony's not gonna be offed that easy with a few shots and all. Hohenheim is also suitably mysterious and ambiguous. Aaaand the crack outtakes in the manga are great too~. (A few things I did like about the anime were ep26 and the one where you see Mustang's crew+Havoc meets the Armstrong family).
Must remember never to read Blood Trinity after FMA though, the sheer difference in how the panels are filled is jarring, and/or makes my eyes hurt. But BT is fun too, for entirely different reasons~

Chinbutsu: OKAY RIN I D/LED THIS TOO SORRY AND I MUST SAY- WTF WTF WTF CRAAAACK CRACKITY CRACK WTF LOLZ XDDD ...seriously. Talking penises/penii? Why is this series so cute? Why does one ...penishead have glasses and ahahah when he lost them? Why does the main chara's crush have to be so shota and genki~~ made it even more wrong when he, uh, "makes his crush feel better" XDD MY BRAIN HURTS
