Oh and our shared bathroom is now sparkly clean as Sabrina, my quasi roommate who was again returned from another of her sudden disappearances, seems to be the type to let things be and the SUDDENLY clean everything like a soul possessed. S all good for me though :D We even have these free postcards from downstairs decorated our teeny kitchen wall. Niiice ♥ (I have the same motiv hanging on my closet--tis a lady with creepy fake contacts, v. futuristic and cool)

PUBLIZISTIK FESTL TOMORROW wooohoo I hope this will be better than my previous Wiennese nightlife experiences. Seems to be a big deal too, even V. who's in the BOKU(Bodenkultur Uni) is coming with a bunch of people.

*shock*

kaiserkuchen: (Raito! oh your sweet and pretty face/in)
...I actually overdressed for today's weather. IT WAS WARM(...comparatively). ...my world-view, how it is now off-kilter :(

Oh and I am slowly becoming convinced that my STEP3 Tut person either already doesn't like me, or us, her students in general and is kinda evil, in this slow way that kind of creeps up on you. LIKE DEVIL'S SNARE!
Plus our texts even after the 'clarification excercises' seem to be encrypted in code(...and I told her I thought the required reading could've been shortened by ten pages judging by relevancy ahahah oops maybe thats where I went wrong).
Good thing Karim and Bianca are in the same boat with me, haaah fellow sufferers!

Went afterwards to test out the shiny Mensa in the NIG(...neue institutsgebäude) and was pleasantly suprised to find a quite lovely, airy and bright place to get your student chow. And here I thought the NIG was forever doomed to be that kinda depressinglooking building I have pysch. in and have to get my things copied. The lifts are hella creepy tho-- only two people fit per cabin thing and there are NO DOORS and you get to see all the floors in between flashing... or more accurately rattle by. Not something for clautrophobics!
Didn't even have to cook for myself today too, as I had dinner over at Anja's place and we gammeld about and later watched the Austrian version of PopStars. ...dude KAT there was this one candidate(Martin) who looks just like the bastard son of Chris and Richie from US5. SERIOUSLY. Also, so gaaaaaay(so we called him Chritchie for the rest of the show aahaha). And there was this other guy we called 'der dreckige Mario' who seemed to be trying to hide his crosseye with a (dreckiges) EMO Fringe, and seems to accessorise like a weeny girl. Hilarious stuff :D
...One of the guys we liked got kicked out in the end, which reminds me why I never watch these shows anymore cause I always hate what the audience ends up on. BALD DUDE YOU ROCKED :(
And there was something else. but I forgot what. Ah well~

Naschmarkt tomorrow! Photos! Must remember to buy phone money I wanna talk to parents but we keep missing each other akdjaklD DAMN TIMEZONES :(

Oh and this has to be recorded: I HAVE A WORKING CEILING LIGHT(its so bright) AND DOORKNOB AGAIN. only took about three weeks, dorm management woow :/

kaiserkuchen: (OT3! Karekano lovin' FTW)
...eventho it is now nearly midnight, I am still inordinately thrilled that finally, after so much running around and idiotic happenings ---LAUNDRY FINISH GET!! And with no shrinkage OR weird colour mixes! Best of all it seems that my whites are even whiter, my colours even brighter! Haaaah Ariel washing powder costs like 10 euros, but this apparently the good shit.

Oh and I am supposed to write 2 to 3 pages on an incomprehensible text of 15 pages that I have read thrice, but yet have absorbed it's sense besides 'bla blah KOMMUNIKATIONSTHEORIE bla blah anthropologists suck bla we know stuff YET we don't know even MORE stuff bla BLA BLA', plus the sinking feeling I have that the questions I am supposed to answer don't seem to BE about the text. Buuut that can be done later, for I have some Princess Tutu and redownloaded Ouran to watch ♥

Also: I LOVE MY COMICS TUTORIAL and we havent really even done anything yet. Our homework assigment: Draw one A4 page of whatever you want(!!!) and bring one A4 copy of your favorite comic/manga character or panel(!!!!!!!) YAY now this is something I would gladly spend hours on. Waaah, what should I choose? Am thinking either some hilarious Bleach crack or some Vagabond awesomeness, except that I don't have any scantalations ...hrmm off to imagegoogle then!
And HORST(even the teacher cracks up about his name-- 'Horrrrrrrrrrrst~') and Harald and Fabian are great fun dudes. Ahaaha we were sitting in a cafe afterwards and they were sharing all the special things that happen to you in the army; weird tales of drunken hijinks; how the youth these days is out to get you!!1; how breaking bones in new and creative ways hurts like fuck and so on and so forth and I was cracking up and dyyying it was so damn funny. Good times ♥

Got to drink my first authentic(albeit sugar-infused like woah) coffee in Vienna too! So now I can legitimately sit in coffeehouses and read newspaper, living out the viennese cliche! (...that plus about 2L of coke and I am still A-OK. My system must be immune to these levels of caffeine already lol)
kaiserkuchen: (Tamaki! Prince Charming *niko niko*)
...I always had heard people raving about it, so I decided yesterday to trawl Youtube for some eps and.

...holy shit, this is how every so-called 'magical girl' anime dreams to be like. Gah. SO GOOD. Ahiru is such an adorable lead and I love that her voice really DOES sound like the duck she really is AND the fairytale motif throughout the anime is wonderful. The meta! Talking back to the 'omniescent narrator'(who is kinda creepy and awesome) ...it brings to mind Utena, except I don't feel like I need to be pumped up on LSD to understand it lol.
And to think I was snorting at the ballet and everything at first. Thirteen eps later(and more to go!) I am hooked and gosh my inner 6 year old that wanted to dance ballet so bad is thrilled ♥
DANCE-OFFS! BALLET-FU akfdlkasjflkjfj :D :D :D
It's fitting that they seem to only use classical music too, and how this really amps up the dramatic factor. I think I was gasping quite a bit during the last eps of 'Der Kapitel des Eies'(=correct german usage also A++)

Oh and NEKO-SENSEI is AWESOME ♥ nyaaaaaaaaah :D :D

PS FAKIR/AHIRU OTP!!!1

Oh and in other news -- WHO KNEW THAT I ALSO HAVE INTERESTING LECTURES(besides the comic tutorial but that doesnt really count soo)?? Altho it figures that Prof Vitouch won't be here for next weeks Medien-pyschologie. And ahahaha the hall-wide groan that followed his announcement...seems the fill-in is well hated XDD We shall seee~

...and I have to get up at 6.30AM tomorrow again. JOY. But at least this time there actually will BE a lecture lololol

kaiserkuchen: (Jin! V for motherfuckin' VICTORY!)
KAT: ...I MET UP WITH NAT TODAY~~!!

And guess what: SHE READS MANGA(well okay she borrows from her friend Olga, who ...is apparently my manga reading soulmate as far as we compared series lol. Nat reads the girliest shoujo ever tho, hee)
...oh and the best part:SHE LIKES OURAN(!!!)and knows about shounen-ai/yaoi too cuz this Olga really digs it apparently. She was all 'ahh my friend also really likes these gay comics*shifty look over to me*' and I'm like all *DYING INSIDE and alksflfglk keyboardmashing in my mind* and '...ahahahaha. Um. Duuuude same here ahahah. Hah'. So that makes her the first person (kinda) from school that knows about my deep dark SEKRIT LOVE. Haaaah XDD

We just met up for some eats, ice cream and strolling around the admittedly quite packed for saturday streets in the shopping area of town. Aaand dropped by the Thalia bookstore under the pretense of getting a book that Nat needed for school and both ended up walking out with a haul o' english books. :D

MY HAUL:
__ Lewis Carrol, 'Alice in Wonderland' ...always wanted my own copy! And 'The Jabberwocky' is possibly my all time favorite poem in english :D

__ Collected Sketches of Monty Pythons' Flying Circus ...was kinda hearing a Chrissie-voice in my head telling me to buy this. Must pester him to burn me the DVDs or something

__ Dave Eggers, 'You Shall Know Our Velocity' ...I know I already have this in BKK but dammit I needed a second copy~

__ Dave Eggers, ''How We Are Hungry' and other short stories' ...I think I kind of shrieked when I saw this in the bookshelf. AHH. Bought it mostly for the short story 'After I Was Thrown in the River and Before I Drowned', which is from the perspective of a dog and I can't even begin to describe it adequately but this story never fails to make me cry a bit everytime I read it and has my favorite description of heaven, hands down. BLISSSSSS

Oh and the 'clubbing' yesterday? A resounding 'meh'. Alt-rock, whilst normally something I love to listen to, is in no way something that you can dance too. The Flex(...which can really be summed up as a 'DRECKIGE SCHUPPEN' o god eww) was full of weird people just standing around bopping their heads. GIVE ME CHEAPASS COMMERCIAL HIP-HOP ANY DAY DD:
So, whilst I did end up at home at 5.30AM I was still stone cold sober and had sore feet cause someone thought it'd be fun for us to walk from the club to the WUK('nother club thing), which turned out to be ...heck, I can't tell but normally something like 11 busstations/2 districts away. Good thing I had my sneakers on lol.
Hopefully the next times will be better!
kaiserkuchen: (Kyouya! Mon Ami~! BFF forever)
...because god damn if the temperature doesn't drop like heck once it gets later than 5PM. Nah... it actually starts in the morning, warms up and gets freeezing again. GAH. At least the other people I know are suffering too, altho there is always the random weirdo on the U-bahn still in shorts and a tank-top. FREAKS

Had my long-awaited Tutorial about Comics today and it is AWESOME and probably the only thing on my schedule this year that I will actually be looking forward to attending! I mean, pysch is kinda cool only by virtue that we have to use an english book, which for everyone else is DOOM and me? Am totally thrilled lol. But back to the Tut- the teacher dude is this really chilled-out guy("You guys have to speak up today 'cause I went to a Metal concert yesterday and my hearings still kinda fucked") and it seems like my group, 'the second round' is more fun than the first. I mean, I had already had fun standing around in the hall with the others, just bullshitting and waiting for the first group to be done. Am somehow this time hanging out with the guys, as the girls weren't very talkative this first hour. Have to do my presentation with some Jennifer chick(MANGA YESSS PERFECT TOPIC SCOORE!), so here's hoping she turns out to be nice.
But am otherwise happy chatting with Horst, Harald and Klaus-Fabian too. Haaah re:their Ur-german names tho!
The best part was also actually finding the damn building the tutorial was in, as the AAKH campus seems to have been designed by a very sadistic bastard who delights in making people wander the campus confused out of their minds. And like the actual STAFF there aren't helpful at all re:locations of places... which is kinda sad. Ah well~

Went to a Freshies meet today too, where ironically the people supposed to head it didnt show up after all(D'OH) ...but had a great time anyways and met some really friendly people(an egyptian/german dude! Chinese chick! Afghani chick! Italian chick! And germans too of course :P) that I'll prolly chill in the afternoon with tomorrow.
And then the evening shall be spent with my first time clubbing(?) in Vienna, if you can call going to a alt-rock ish bar 'clubbing', where I shall be going with the ladies from yesterday. In that group I have already been awarded the role of the constantly confused/verpeilte one ...>_>;; IT'S NOT MY FAULT THEY SOMETIMES TALK SO SOFTLY ...or fiercely debate stuff like the price of so and so and I automatically start ignoring the maths aspect of that and thus zone out! Also I was hungry today. And copying the stupid pysch book(270 pages for 20 EUROS blargh)wasn't exactly somewhere where I'm at the top of my mental game anyhow~

Off to bed!

*IS SMRT*

Oct. 11th, 2006 09:30 pm
kaiserkuchen: (Oh noes! Ruuuun awaaay~)
...sooo today I managed to wrack myself out of bed at the bright and early time of 6.30AM, so that I could be sure of making my 8AM lecture. Was on the way to the AAKH campus, which was supposedly a bit father from the general uni...so far so good. Got there, got hopelessly lost but found another fellow sufferer, Franzi(ska), whom I latched onto immediately.
Eventually managed to reach said lecture hall with around a hundred other students and met up with the girls from yesterday, only to find out that the lecture was on for NEXT WEEK. ...and then, after we pulled out our schedules to check it turned out that we all(or at least me and Julia) had written the 18th as the correct date anyhow. DURRRRRRRR >__>;; Lesen muss man können! But it was comforting to see that a bunch of other people were just as retarded as we were! Plus: MORE FRIENDS GET!

...and as it turns out all the girls are german, which is kinda amusing yet not suprising if you consider how many people must've came over to do PKW and Medicine etc here. Kat, turns out I gots me a german posse of sorts too, lolz~

Oh and I had my first lecture today where I understood approximatly .5% of what the professor was saying. It was ...beautiful, in a way-- part of me would recognize the words perfectly, but hell as if I couldn't make a damn lick of sense of them! And his 318971937 words per minute rate didnt exactly help. Urgh. Am happy I wasn't the only one who started to zone out after the first 10 minutes...

Looking forward to the Tutorial tomorrow about comics though, even if it's also in that damn AAKH! Hopefully it'll be cool :D

---

Will need to buy a printer too...god damn do I have to print out a lot of crap for required reading! asfkljhf

Gargh!

kaiserkuchen: (Tamaki! ...countdown to eyelasers 5 3 1!)
...have to get up at 6:30AM tomorrow to have enough time to make it to my lecture at 8:00AM. Wrrry I thought I put all this getting up early behind me from school. Bah.

Shall toddle over to sleep now soon, after I read a super-angsty Due South epic(so the disclaimer warned)~

Cross your fingers that I'll hear the alarm tomorrow! (New Friend Julia also said that she'd call and check if I were conscious yet at 7, which was really sweet of her to offer ♥ Altho it's kinda funny that I seem to suddenly be the 'lucky rich kid' of our trio/quartett just because I have the parentals expense credit cards, which is a new sensation for me. Huh. And yet I am still the only one stuck inna dorm outside the 'city center', as they all live like 10 mins max away from Uni)

...PS KAT. SKYPE!
kaiserkuchen: (OT3! Karekano lovin' FTW)
... so far, the student life really does up until now mainly consist of waiting (be it for LV signups, or even LV seats), constantly doubting yourself, the verity of your planned courses and a constant paranoia of missing something that will then make you have to do an extra year or something. Oh and eternally wondering how to get to Mysterious Place XYZ where there will be a lecture held in Secret Chamber TWHD. Or maybe I just reallly can't orientate myself in European cities, which is bloody ironic and quite sad, when you think of it.

My lectures today where mainly of an introductory nature, and I got to meet few nice people too- or should I rather say I started talking to them and asked if they minded me following them around lol.

UNI: Ultimate test of social skills OR how not to alarm potential friends and fellow course sufferers! yes I am still kinda bitter bout those antisocial thai students I met near my dorm

Will prolly start to HATE mondays though, as I will be stuck at Uni from basically 4-10PM (STEP1&2= 4-7PM; Introduction in Pyschology= 8-9.45PM WRRRRRY) ...at least it's in the afternoon? D: Only have one LV in the 'early hours' of 8-10AM so far, everything else is 10AM or later, which is also good I guess... or at least when I don't hear the alarm like today. Thank god I didnt have anything this morning D: D: or Dad would already have reason to 'shoot me to HELL' ...Should buy a second alarm or something...

The Firsties-Tutorien AKA let's drink our way through Vienna's bars AND MORE activities will be on Thursday and Friday, so am looking forward to those~~ ♥ (...Just have to figure out how to get back to the dorms when it's ass o'clock in Vienna beforehand. God this city creeps me out at night D:)
kaiserkuchen: (Oh noes! Ruuuun awaaay~)
Got to talk to Migel on msn yesterday and was updated with some scandalous!!1omg gossip bout the rest of the BKKers, which was kinda fun ♥ And then I found out that it was 5AM his time and he stayed awake an extra hour longer to chat with me, which was a very heartwarming d'awwwww moment~

Have otherwise been kinda slumming like a hobo in my room, which admittedly saves money AND the day kinda passes by quickly when you spend half of it asleep and the other half mainlining Scrubs S3(=BRILLIANT. SPARKLING. JOYFUL. JD and Turk and Dr.Cox and the Janitor and all of the cast=LOVE LOVE ♥) and failing at making up new! and original! ways to cook pasta.

Note to self: trying to cook instant soup and pasta in the same pot, at the same time results only in pasta with clumps of msg flavouring. Which, while kinda tasty for the first few spoonfuls becomes real old, real fast.
(Ah, if only I could've inherited Dad's skill in the kitchen. Or if only I weren't so lazy and thus prone to halfassed culinary decisions. Ahhh~ *shrugs*)

---

...I need to revamp my icons too, but...*INDECISION*
kaiserkuchen: (Jin! V for motherfuckin' VICTORY!)
Have spent the large part of this day so far just holed up in my room, cleaning up and waiting for the clock to strike 3 and 4.30PM (only 6PM left now) for me to scramble to the Publizistik website and send prayers to the internet gods that my online registration for the tutorials gets through... It's quite the adrenaline rush, I must say!

Adding up with yesterdays STEP3 registration, my tally so far is one third-choice course, one course that I barely got into and apparently turned out to be something else anyhow but it's on a good time so I might as well take it and one FIRST choice, which is the tutorial to STEP2 called "4000 years of comics in 12 segments" ... AWESOME ^^V
Now I only have to figure out the freie Wahlfächer and how many I can do in this half year first and I should be all set?? KBLABFDkh fkssdsshhh X(

----

Oh and House Season 3, the first two eps? GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW ♥
...Chase in ep 2... that adorable short sleeved shirt! THE yo mama COMEBACK TO FOREMAN ahahahahaha that was so embarrassingly hilarious and adorable and ksajfLKJ eeeeee!

NEED MORE PLZ

Also have been watching Due South vids and clips on Youtube and I should really order the series sometimes. RayK and Fraser are seriously hot and damn if the fic for this fandom isn't all sorts of fucking fantastic ♥
kaiserkuchen: (Tamaki! ...countdown to eyelasers 5 3 1!)
Weeell, am now back from my first 'official' dorm party and am reeking of cigarette smoke like you cannot believe. Twas a party thrown by some people from my cousin's uni and thus she came too, which turned out to be for the best anyhow since I got to hang with her friends instead of nursing my (disgusting) beer and contemplating how to start shouted convos with people.
There was this guy in a kilt though, which was awesome and he gained automatically +10 points for ballllsiness in my opinion.

Shall prolly be more into the whole partying thing come next week when it's the Publizistik-department's turn to show newbies like me around town, so am actually kinda looking forward to that!
Until then it's time to slooowly figure out the confusing art of throwing together my own timetable and making sure that I get to book the right lectures online ...which can be sometimes a matter of 5 secs and a good connection, god. Because who wants to get the friday night at nine pm. lecture slot? URGH... They even have some for sat and sun *shudders* It's all so complicated and such a damn hassle. And this with me ignoring the 'free' electives that I also still have to pick from 4 other different departments :/
I MISS MY SCHOOL TIMETABLE.... DDD:

Otherwise I am swinging between intense urges of wanting to go HOME HOME HOME and not-virulently-hating it here. The fact that I have MY OWN net connection finally does help to tip the scales towards the not-hating, and am all aglee over Due South fic and Camp and the fact that there are House Season 3 eps on YouTube already. AHHHH TEH MAGIC OF TEH INTERWEBS~~~
kaiserkuchen: (*sadface* :( :( :()
Fucking dorm assholes said I can have my 'net access earliest this monday. WARGH. I guess it was a good thing that the lady on the train with whom I started a 'short' polite convo with turned out to drag me into a discussion about Austrian politics for basically the entire last 2 1/2 hours of the 5 hour train trip then... this means that I still have some fic I saved on the com to read to pass the time aaaand well. Otherwise. Shall be set loose in town then!

Am sitting in a dinky and slightly creepy net cafe now, as I have deemed net access to be more important than going to get some stuff in the supermarket, but who knows, maybe I'll make it to one in time before closing time at 8? Both cousins are too busy to do anything with me today and prolly tomorrow too, so I think I'll treat myself to some ENGLISH ost movies tomorrow~

Met my dorm mate(ish) finally too, she seems like a nice person and has apparently been here since 02. Also said that I don't have to worry as she's never gonna be around...which is good?? I guess. Maybe I shall try to start random conversations with people tomorrow but everyone looks so damn antisocial and unhappy. Or maybe I'm just paranoid. And slowly kinda lonely already. GAH I suck.
kaiserkuchen: (Tidus! Eeee!)
And thus I quote an actual email from my dad:

"Better make sure you will be able to wake up when you are in Vienna and attend the UNI, or I will shoot you to HELL.

best regards

love, Dad"

...I FEEL ALL WARM AND FUZZY NOW XDDD ...and yeah, first thing on the list when I get to Vienna again is to buy the biggest and baddest alarm clock, as I seem to be suffering from insomnia again. Yay.

Mreh.

kaiserkuchen: (Axel! Baby don't ever leave :()
I hope the weather really does get better soon, because all the rain and the subsequent COLD is making me feel restless, depressed and kinda caged-in. Which is ironic, really, since I don't really leave the house much however the weather is. Seems like there's no point in wandering about this tiny town alone, yanno?
Also- the rain makes me miss Bangkok and get all emo and homesick. Dammit, does this mean that I have rain emo-triggers now, too?

D:

Am at least looking forward to going shopping on friday- winter boots! And next week thursday I shall probably be sitting my ass on a train to Wienna again, UNI life... it shall begin! Hope they fixed my doorknob in the dorms tho...

Think I'll go look at some Samurai Champloo eps on YouTube or something now...
kaiserkuchen: (Jin! V for motherfuckin' VICTORY!)
~~2 things that have brightened up my existance this past week(or so)~~

1) ...suprisingly, Tennis! And by which I don't mean watching eps of Tenipuri or reading the manga, although I imagine that would be fun too- I'm talking about *gasp* RL Tennis, or more specifically the US Open. Got to watch Federer in the semis against Blake and in the finals versus Roddick and hooooly shit, I have never been more at the edge of my seat watching any type of sports matches before.
Watching Federer play is simply a joy. The man knows his tennis, and oh, some of the shots he played ...So skillful and elegant! Plus when he was matched up against Roddick, who is also a fun player to watch, what with those smashing serves of his ...ahh it was all the more exciting to watch as a spectator~ ♥ ♥
(something I haven’t actively done since the nineties as a wee kid with Sampras and Michael Chang(Asians represent!)...ahh how I used to love tennis)

Bits from the match that amused me:
_ the also very random, yet amusing anecdotes of the german voiceover announcer, and thanks to him I now know that Roddick is, amongst others, a very fast eater and that he was kinda a precocious brat who once signed a bunch of tennis balls when he was six, gave them to a friend and said 'keep these, they'll be worth tons when I'm older'... which is actually quite adorable (...and probably true, too!)
_ the times that Roddick kept changing his shirt- at least three times during a two hour match... I mean, maybe it's normal for some players but it just stood out more compared to Federer just chilling in his seat, wearing his same old shirt (...and leisurely scratching himself as Roddick is already on court waiting for the break to be over XDD)

...long squee short, I personally think that ‘King Roger’ is awesome and a really nice, sympathetic guy who plays mindblowingly good tennis and that he should go on and break all records ever. And the weird thing is, even if I don’t watch his next few matches... just the thought that somewhere out there Roger Federer is kicking major tennis ass makes me happy. Like all is right with the world or something ^^V

Also: There is apparently a Federer beanie baby/Teddy bear, dressed in a blue shirt with a #1 on the back with a headband and a red racket ...and goddammit it is adorable and I waaaantssss it preciousssss DDD:
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

2) DVDs
When nightfall reaches the Austrian province...and the nightly TV schedule is basically crap warmed over, nothing saves one from boredom more than rewatching one’s entire DVD collection. (Since of course I am somehow incapable to just go to sleep before 3AM noooo)
I also relearned the lesson that watching Brokeback Mountain right before going to bed is also a bad idea, as being huddled in front of my laptop, clutching my stuffed turtle(IKEA is awesome) and sobbing my eyes out ... leads to a very extreme case of puffy eyes the next day and my Oma thinking weird things about what I do in my room. ...but it’s either that or funny stuff and apparently that too is also weird thought-inducing because one can hear my mad cackling when I decide to marathon Scrubs or Samurai Champloo(THE BASEBALL EP AHAHAHA OMG WHUUT XDDD) in the hallway as well....
You just can’t win, I guess :P Wish I had some Everwood eps or Nip/Tuck...such a shiny interesting show, that the german dub didn’t manage to fuck up like it does to House(...*brrr* I believe that like it is the case with Alan Rickman, dubbing Hugh Laurie’s voice should be a crime). And the Ducklings are ‘Sie’zing each other, how stiff is that? Not to mention that the guys dub voices all sound the same. URGH.

Oh and I WANNA WATCH 'DAS PARFÜM' D: D: D: ...in english though! *curses lack of kino in 60km radius*

AND YAAAY WELCOME BACK TO NET-LAND KAT DEAR ♥ :D :D :D
kaiserkuchen: (Oh snap it's agent Ishida)
I wanted to upload some pics again, but alas photobucket is rebelling, so again the pics shall be postponed for later on...

Vienna redux was fun, I must say! The week just about passed by like a flash, even though I had to lug around my heavy luggage through trains and city and whathaveyou (hurray bruises and possibly hopefully more arm muscles??!)... The weather even mostly played along, only a teeny bit of rain and a touch of the famous icy cold and biting viennese wind... something I should get used to for October, lolz.

Spent a lot of time wandering around town on my own too, shopping(dorm stuff! SCARVES!) and seeing the sights and sounds(got to eat pastries at an authentic old school bakery that served the k.u.k monarchy!)
...AAAND getting lost in the subway system and getting on the wrong trains too of course! >_>;;

((BEST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE? OMG THE MANGA! SAMURAI CHAMPLOO 1 and 2! BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL 18! HONEY AND CLOVER 1! LOVE MODE 1! ANTIQUE BAKERY THREE AND FOUR HOLY SHIT asfgkfj :DDD!! I thought I'd have to order it per 'net or something! *ROLLS AROUND IN GLEE* WORTH EVERY EURO I THREW OUT OH YESSSS))

Moving into the dorm also went by without any problems, and what can I say- I seem to have lucked out re: size and furniture and all sorts of things~. I especially like the uh, 'welcome newbies' pack that they were handing out that included instant food, mayo etc ...and two pre-lubricated condoms... How thoughtful and practical? XDDD

---
In other news: Bleach 241? DADDY QUINCY!!! Ahhh ♥ I really, really want to know more about the backstory(if there is one and there better beee) between him and Daddy Kurosaki~

I also want to finally have constant internet again argh ...
---

And it's been said over and over again but I also want to say R.I.P Steve Irwin. ...man. He seemed like such an indestructible constant you know? :( :( :(
(I thought my eyes were playing a trick on me when I first saw the news on CNN...)
kaiserkuchen: (Axel! Baby don't ever leave :()
Haah managed to get some net time now, as on monday I shall be sitting my ass on a train to Wieeeen/Vienna or WIENNA as I tend to typo it these days... There shall be shopping and moving into dorms and hopefully getting all the last uni issues alll worked out~ Which again means that unless I manage to hijack some 'net there I shall be MIA for a week and a half at least. Baah D:

Used my offline time to start a somewhat daily log so that I don't wind up sitting in front of the update journal page with no clue what to type, so here be the last week, Shaz style, copy and pasted from good ol' M Word!
First there was Mondaaaay... )

Ahh. Life in Austria continues to fluctuate between vaguely amusing and slightly boring, depending on the day and my mood when pondering this question. KAT I MISS YOU ALREADY IT IS A CONSTANT HOLE IN MY HEART WARRRGH DDD:
We had a few sunny days, but the incoming cold seems inevitable.

Also, I am officially sick for the first time in Austria! The first cold and hacking cough of many yet to come, or so my relatives tell me. Ehh
Am also in the process of uploading some pics, even if good ol photobucket seems to be taking it's sweet ol time with the proceedings... Yet Silvia's net is certainly perfect for watching things on Youtube-- caught up with Ouran 17 and 18 finally! And there is prolly more, but shall save that for another time... Ahh, Ouran ♥

....and now I have been trying in vain to upload things that are NOT playing along for over an hour.
GAH. Shall try again next time.

Shall try again next time! Must escape now sadly DDDD:
