Last but not least, this remains one of the best 'heartstring-tugging' ads I've ever seen. Saw it the first time in the movie preview timeslot and JEEBUS christ I was in tears afterwards. Which made a weird start to watching whatever comedy I was in for that time... AHHH WATCH THIS ONE (I mean, even if part of me is always kinda '...' when you find out for what this is an ad for, but it is still extremely well done I say)

Today was a day consisting of many tiny victories, ranging from the small like being able to open an always tricky jar of yogurt, to already(!!) getting a reply from Uni that basically tells me it's okay for me to chill until I get my Zulassungsbescheid and that my Antrag is essentially done(!!!!!), also adding that in Publizistik it is NOT a first come first serve manner. What a relief!

And! Finally finding an MV to one of my possibly all-time favorite thai songs- "เจ้าช่อมาลี" from Mister.Team! Ahhhhh~~ ♥ ♥! It's even the cheesy karaoke version, so I finally can see the lyrics in entirety...CHECK IT OUT :DD. It's a bit of an old song, mid nineties, I guess? But still so cool~ The chorus exemplifies ultimate ear-worm factor!

So of course I ended up trawling for my favorite thai songs on Youtube(...seriously, one of the best sites on the freaking internet ever!) and here is what I came up with:
"ลำยอง" by Buddha Bless _ since I am too lazy to upload the music, here's the music video! Which is probably funnier to someone who can't understand all the lyrics anyway I guess? And remember that while the beat seems kinda vaguely lame- the chorus has lyrics that go "You're so drunk like this, it won't work out/I think you should go rest/Go to bed/ And find a nice warm glass of water to drink/And me? I'm still fine/ Just a little woozy/It's because I'm not drunk from alcohol/I'm drunk with loooooove...for you ♥" ahaha they are so fun :D

"Fire" by Buddha Bless _ their first single! Heh, when I first saw this I thought they were still some kind of lame thai dancehall ripoffs. I mean, they are knda cheesy, but they just have so much fun with what they're doing it just turns to Genius :D. And some of their lyrics have a real funny, mocking humour to them("Shing Mah Ma Guerd" for example! Wah, shame they don't have that vid on Youtube). Oh, and on the link there's this one guy commenting on how this is a reflection on 'the social degradation of thai culture due to TRT' and etc. Yeaaaaah right, this one song about how this girl is 'hot like fire' is Moral Decay to the max... Sheesh, some people! Also- uh, the singers are Thai and probably Buddhist as well, and it's not like they're singing about XXX on the XXX 24-7 with an added touch of XXXXX... >_>;; The commentor should get his facts straight and his head out of his ass before he deems to condemn something...

"แฟนฉัน" by ABNormal _cuuuuute song! And damn, I really need to watch the movie sometimes...The kids are adorable ♥

"สิ่งสำคัญ" by Endorphine _beautiful ballad! The singer has a really pretty and quite distinctive voice, which is great. This was in the charts forever, a while back.

"Khon Thi Kaa Chan" by Silly Fools _aklshflakfjlf!! This song is fucking fantastic, had it on repeat for a few months weeks last year ♥ I LOVE the lead singers voice~
This, this, this(!!!) and this are also great songs, eventhough the last one makes you kinda wanna stab things it's lyrics are so depressing D:

"อมพระมาพูดก็ไม่เชื่อ" by Bird and Sek Loso _♥ ♥ ...when two of the most famous artists of the thai music industry team up! Ahhh P'Bird is an eternal classic and all the 'ser' indie wannabe dudes running around just wish they could be like P'Sek Loso :D And the girl in the vid? Marsha is hot ♥

"O.K. นะคะ" by Katreeya English _...o god ahaha this takes me back! Nineties thai pop ftw!

"ตาสว่าง" by ModernDog _...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wtf I've never actually seen the MV for this before(have the album on heavy rotation tho, heh) and hasfkhkfk hahahahahaha! The uh, old dude 'singing' along to the lyrics ISN'T actually the lead singer, before anyone gets the wrong idea- it's a well known comedian and the 'real' singer is actually the guitarist who is wearing the super-disguising fake-glasses and moustache combo that appears with the rest of the band near the end of the song. ...*snrk* XDDD Another Fucking Awesome Song, though :DDD

Okay...last one! "บุษบา" by ModernDog _ ...♥! First song I ever heard from ModernDog, back when I was a wee kidlet who scoffed at the idea of decent thai music (ironically my favorite artists then were 5ive and the Spice Girls ahehehe) ...ahh but this is good :)
