kaiserkuchenHot damn. It just feels like I've only just arrived in BKK and it's been 5 days already. Time sure flies when you're busy like hell and shopping shopping shoppinggg! And okay, the last two days HAVE been spent in a more productive manner (INTERNSHIP GET!).
To sum up, a quick listing of Things Done So Far:
__ spent FAR TOO MUCH $$$ on sales! Got me a swank green MNG top that got marked down from 1790 baht to 1090 instead, basically an entire week of work-related tops bought in Lido, comfy black pumps IN MY SIZE scooore (thus totally worth the 2300 baht), MASSIVELY marked down Karekano english manga from Kinokuniya (from 420 baht to fucking FIFTY BAHT akjhkja), an original DKNY summery minidress for 2000 baht(!!) and a cooler than expected forest green Zara bag that is shaped like a giant demented bonbon. Seriously, my first reaction went along the lines of "*picks it up and wears it* Hey Ma, look at this ugly ass bag lolol ... hey, this actually is pretty cool... it's like... so weird-looking that it's actually cool again...heyyy I've always wanted a green bag ........*stares at mirror* ...ahem. *heads to cashier*". And for roughly a thousand baht, not a bad price, either! AH LOVE ME SOME GOOD DEALS~ Shopping w/ Ma is just always so damn fun and an excellent mother-daughter bonding exercise :D
__ met AJ again aaaaaaaaieee and he is so cuuuute! And so fun to tease~ But his escape skills have highly levelled up *pouts*
__ eaten high amounts of delicious ASIAN FOOD. Dim sum! Japanese! Good ol' Thai home cooking! Papa Beard Chou Cream Puffs! Copious amounts of fruit juice and smoothies! So much for my immediate diet plan lol (SUMMER GOAL: LOSE AT LEAST THREE KILOS??)
__ did stuff w/ Thai relatives like a good child and even got the beginnings of various vaccinations done urgh needles (NEXT UP: SHARON FINDS OUT HER BLOODGROUP, 20 YEARS LATER)
__ watched Wanted. Check in your sanity and suspend your disbelief and you're in for an AWESOME ride of spectacular action! James McAvoy is a hottie (even with fake US-accent), Angelina Jolie has still got it going on (though the woman needs to eat a truck of sandwiches, good god) and THE ULTIMATE ADDED BONUS OF ALL: Fricken CHRIS PRATT playing the assholish, energy-drink addicted 'best friend' of James McAvoy's character LOLOLOL loved it! (We get to see his ass, too :Db). The plot just takes a swandive out of the nearest window eventually though, and certain things like what happens to ALL THE DEAD PEOPLE (especially after a certain train scene AHEM) never is really mentioned. Who needs sense-making anyways eh? :P
__ met the DOGGIES AGAIN. HOLY CRAP Ace got HUGE. 26kgs of hyper, JUMPING Rottweiler pup. And oh how I feel so sorry for Nero. Ace just walks all over him, and I mean that not just figuratively. (He apparently sits on Nero's head from time to time) ...and oh man can that dog jump. Why just earlier did he execute a perfect FLYING LEAP from the sofa on to the nearby easy chair that yours truly was unexpectedly lounging on and landed on my lap. Now if that doesn't knock the wind out of you, I don't know what will lol.
AND NOW ITS MIDNIGHT. My 5 hours of sleep beckon! Will reply to all posts and such tomorrow-- already have stuff tabbed and bookmarked~~

Date: 2008-07-09 07:23 am (UTC)yesterday I went shopping with mum and her lovah and we went to bernhard and now I am wearing pants which are actually jeans which actually look as if I was wearing leggings, because they are so superskinnytight. and I bought a stupid dress which looks like a japanese school uniform on crack (but it cost only 15€, it was totally worth it) BUT the worst: I got a tee for fucking 50€ and its so ugly, that I'm never going to wear it! HA!

UNCOOL, cheap but cute dress, UNCOOL. Shall have to try and pawn it off to someone else then :((( )
