A post of happy things

To counteract the last one (though I still hope Sabrina remains gooooooone for a while, ugh at least now I have somewhat cleaned things. WHY IS THERE ALWAYS HAIR IN THE FRIDGE, FOR REALS D:), a list of reasons why life is pretty boss right now:

♥ I found out that my BAKK2 Thesis deadline is "the end of October". Which still mean I should start with the actual writing soon (tomorrow!), but it is excellent news. TIME, PRECIOUS TIME.
My university courses have all also finally aligned! Got into my two necessary seminars, and managed to successfully sign up for two sociology electives that total over my needed 5 ECTS AAAAND I am probably going to attempt the ABWL Intro to Business exam at the BWZ in November/December that would be 6 ECTS if I pass, so either way I seem to be set for graduation! NOTE TO SELF: DON'T FUCK THIS UP
♥ THE ROOM IS NEARLY CLEAN AND CLEARED UP
♥ Have been purposely trying to eat healthily now- yogurt and whole-wheat toast, fruits and salads and it has been nom nom nom-licious so far! Totally used the +honey idea from C in my Lamb's lettuce salad with Serrano ham and figs yesterday, and it was pretty much ~*tastebud heaven*~. And tonight I dine with Miss Olga again, double yay for nomming healthy food in company, even! :D

♥ ♥ I WANTED TO GIVE THIS DESERVING SPACE, SO HERE IT IS. EVERYBODY WHO SENT ME MAIL OVER THE SUMMER, I GOT IT AND I LOVE YOU ALLLLLLL! Even my RL crazy travelling peeps did not disappoint (Pisa! London! Milan! Berlin!) and seriously, it was an amazing feeling opening my mailbox and not having it only be filled with bills and bank statements. mcollinknight, your DEE CEE mail is fabulous and I am rolling about in glee just looking at it again, GORGEOUS POSTCARDS AND COOL FLYERS ACHHH. Also, your namecard is gloriousss nggg TOY EXPERT! Does this mean I can legit call you up and get a consultation when I have a ~Toy emergency~?? THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS COMING UP, AFTER ALL
AND laulan, duuuuuuuuuude a double-whammy of mail? Be still my beating heart! And the postcard of the San Fran bridge is epically ~dramatic~ and mysterious, and it totally makes SF look like a magic land of mystery and possibly DINOSAURS. I associate dinosaurs with fog?? My brain just told me this, idk. And I can only state again that the post-it letter was one of the best things that I have ever received in a (fantastically be-stickered ♥) envelope and I will not stop until everyone in my immediate RL circle knows about its color-coordinated brilliance ♥ ALSO I WILL REPLY TO THE CONTENTS IN AN EMAIL, COMING TO YOU ...SOON :DD

I prefer maple syrup to honey in trufax, but I didn't know if you had proper, non-sketch maple syrup in Europe so I thought I should go for the honey. YAY for healthy food, I loves it :D

Yeah, the maple syrup I have had so far in life has been pretty unspectacular, though I am holding out for the day I will finally make it over to CANADA and can try some authentic one for the ~first time~. ALSO, BEAVER TAILS OM NOM.

!!!! EXCELLENT, and man, I hope mine arrives in your mailbox soon! Sent it off ca. the 22nd, and my grandma in Austria has already received the postcard I sent her on the 24th, so here's hoping it gets there, too. It is at least chock-full-a goodies to make up for the entire summer of me Not Doing Anything lolol ^^ (ALSO I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE CONTENTS FOR SAFE-KEEPING)

This is because you have not had North American syrup (I will allow the Americans that there is some decent crop in Vermont and New Hampshire, but I draw the line at Aunt Jemima). We are rather adept at the syrup-making thing. I would mail some to you were I not deathly afraid of it being confiscated/tampered with/exploooooding, as it would do. I SUPPOSE I WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WE MEET IN PERSOOOOOOOOOON.

HELLO WHEN LITTLEFOOT'S MOTHER DIED!! That was so sad :(( OR LIKE WHENEVER I HEAR THAT THEME SONG that uh Diana Ross? sang for it? BAWWWW. The Lion King is also guaranteed crying for me, wah MUFASAAAAA ;_; That OST was one of the first I can remembering buying as a kid, I was such a Lion King nerd :DD

Well, as she is still not back from wherever she left for since Sunday, I cannot talk to her :D and the status quo with her gone can gladly continue, sometimes she would be away for like THREE WEEKS, which would be blissful and really almost make me feel like I was living alone, too.

SO TRUEEEEEEE! I refuse to watch the "sequels" for this very reason! And "Be Prepared" is probably my favorite Disney song ever... SO EXCELLENT. What kind of merch did you have? I had all kinds of books, and even a little bb!Simba plushy that our old dog liked to eat l-lol.

THAT WOULD NECESSITATE HER HAVING A BRAAAAAAAAAAAIN. And I assume she is either Not!studying or Not!Working or maybe just fucking her boyfriend at his apartment instead of doing it here. One time after her quite extended delay I was curious and asked wth she was doing and she said that she had spent the 3 weeks getting accredited as an old-person gymnastics instructor. I KNOW RIGHT??

BE PREPAAAAAREEEDDDD oh god, I had a ton of stuff. LOTS of stickers, like two different computer games, which I still have + have very fond memories of, books (including one of those ones that has all the sound buttons down the side and a coloring book), at least one tshirt, I think, video in English AND Mandarin \o/ aaand the crowning jewel of my collection, those Simba and Nala stuffed animals that had magnetic noses so that they "kissed." YEAH. LION KING IS AWESOME.

The computer game was so great! I always played it at my grandparent's place in Bangkok and remember being so challenged by the bit where you have to swing on the giraffe necks or something. AND THE ELEPHANT GRAVEYARD BIT WAS SO HAAAAAAAAAAAARD. OOH AND THE SOUNDBOOK! I loved that one! ............and you had the kissy dolls?? YOU HAD THOSE PLUSHIES?? Oh my god, tiny me would have DIED with envy, I remember wanting those so damn bad, ngggggg. My lion obsession also transferred itself to watching all lion documentaries everrr on Animal Planet, and of course there was one lioness they called Simba that I loved the most. But as these things happen in the ~Circle of Life~, Simba got sick and went off to die somewhere that the camera team didn't follow and I remember being pretty damn depressed and mopey because of that. SIMBAAAAAAAAA ;_;

I DON'T KNOW. She could be a spy for all I know, and for all the weird things she does lolol

I used to play them in my mom's office. :3 I love whichever one had the part where you got to be Ed and do the elephant bones xylophone :DD fuck those games were awesome, I should play them when I get home.

I'M PRETTY SURE I STILL HAVE THE KISSY DOLLS, ACTUALLY. Probably the soundbook too lol. I don't think I would have given them away, because my love for the Lion King is so massive. I'll have to check when I get hooooome! I LOVED ALL BIG CATS and all animals pretty much but oh man, I knew so many animal facts. I USED TO BE SO MUCH COOOLER. That's so sad about Simbaaaaa :(((

!!! All my old toys and books were probably given away or thrown away by my aunt :(( We had to leave them there because we lived in teeny studio apartments for a while and she had a house. I WISH I STILL HAD MY OLD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS FROM S'PORE AND M'SIA THOUGH, sighhh.
