Ninjas STILL can't catch you if you're on fire

Karate is proving to be educational in various ways, including a step-by-step guide in How Exactly Shaz Bruises. Which is mainly easily and longlastingly. My bruises are getting new bruises! Yays. Thankfully I learned from last weeks dumbassery and borrowed a wristband from Michi so that my wonky right wrist was at least marginally cushioned during the first hour of what is basically warming up by sparring, but Carmen and I prefer to call 'bitchfightery'. But it is all a matter of picking the right opponents to attempt to slap and punch and poke and kick in the chest and stomach area(...like I said, bitchfighteryyy)-- not the wispy petite girlies, nor the crazy blocking fiends that forgo punching for slamming their forearms of steel onto one's wrists over and over again OWWW and not even the smarmy bastard in the blue shirt (who is ever so irritating. Oh how I dislike his stupid face and his only aiming for the breast area in what is not even a 'oops my bad' manner, but a smarmy ass ':> hur hur' way. GAAH).
Sun, the chubby asian dude is fun to spar against, as we both eventually digress into making video game jokes and Mortal Kombat FINISH HIM!!!1 moves with the fitting sound effects ♥. Berni is also verrah fun, at first we only knew of him as 'der Mediziner' and had put him in firm 'smarmy bastard' category, but upon having sparred and chatted with him a bit he really is amusing. And he keeps getting beat up and picked on by Kurt. Hee :3

Speaking of Kurt and beat-downs, he even challenged two of the boys in a 2-on-1 fight thing and the rest of us got to lean back, relax and enjoy the sight of Serious-faito-faito dude and Tall dude who lives in the other Dorm on our campus attempt to best our Karate instructor. Serious FF dude was clearly the bigger threat, with Tall dude being the one who was leading SNEAK ATTACKS!! when Kurt's guard down and everyone basically got a nice beating before Kurt eventually called for a stop as he was tired and old. LOLLL. And then of course, he told us a story about how he and his brother(but mostly him) once beat up 5 styrian punks who were looking for a fight with them. Yeaaah~~ XDD

Guess who, after obsessively replaying the 'Dear You' songs for ever and ever, has started watching Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni on Youtube today! At like nearlly 2 fucking AM, which is of course THE BEST TIME to start watching something that will undoubtably freak the beejezus out of me. ._. ...Heck, I only just finished the first episode and I was twitching in '...will the bad things happen yet?!'-anticipation! And I must agree with the general gist of what I've read so far about the series is that the charas are all surprisingly sympathetic and likable, despite their initial SUPAA MOE WAI WAI appearance. Rena's desire to save Kenta-kun(...a fucking Colonel Sanders statue) from the dumpster made me lol

Have been reading some campfuckudie as usual and was shocked to discover that Gwendal and Wolfwood aren't together anymore?? WHAT?? HOW? and eeeeh whyyy ;3;. I remember avidly reading the build-up to their relationship a year ago and adoring it so, aaaah good times. Must sharpen my eyes when skimming threads/posts again, I admit to only really have been following a few characters lately and missing these kind of things is always argggh!backtracking time frustration-inducing

Otherwise this day has so far been spent in the same manner as Thursday and Friday have been, with waking up at 2.30PM and all. I AM FREE FROM EXAMS NOW yesssss! Or at least until November rolls about and I fervently hope that I will only have to do the KSOZ exam and retake the OEKO one... Please, Any Higher Deity Up There, don't make my pitiful WERB exam a failing grade!! ;3; The Intro to Psychology II went positively swimmingly in comparison. We only had 20 multiple choice questions, as opposed to 10 multi-choice and 3 essay questions that the first group taking the exam had (hahaha Michi was so annoyed hearing that :Db)

The rest of the weekend was mostly spent asleep, chilling and in vague fits of activity doing stuff like going to watch "Stardust/Der Sternenwanderer" with Carmen. SUCH AN AWESOME MOVIE EEEEEEEEE INSTANT HAPPINESS GUARANTEED ♥ The leads were simply ADORABLE(Tristan you EEDJIT), the plot was a deft mix of fantasy!adventure! mixed with a dash of romance and HUMOR that was actually funny and of course, Michelle Pfeiffer playing an awesome witch of eviiiiil and ROBERT DENIRO as a flying airship PIRATE CAPTAIN ♥. I loved the book version from Neil Gaiman, but never would I have expected the movie to turn out so well. Would have gladly paid the full price for this(we had a voucher for 5 euros yesss), no fucking questions asked. :DDDDb

OFF TO REWATCH THE JARED CLIP AGAIN and again~~

So! Yesterday was Carmen and mines first ever Karate lesson! First impression? Kind of fuuuuun~~ It was almost soothing, getting back to the patterns of martial arts training again. We just started with some basic punches and the footwork, which already is kind of challenging because the footwork is different(duuuh) from the Taekwondo one and of course 8 years of muscle memory in me are still firmly wired to Taekwondo Taekwondo Taekwondo XDD. Our teacher Kurt really does look like one of these hippy guys, with hair all down to his ass, but is a surprisingly good, badass and funny teacher. Who uh, is using a stick as a teaching aid, too ^^;; Am curious about how the others in class will turn out to be, there is a good balance between guys and girls in this beginners class and we didn't really have much time to do any group get-to-know-you exercises. Or maybe it's just me who like those things, haah. It's a bit odd changing in the USI's locker rooms though, I keep getting suprised by the random people who are bucknaked-ly walking around... Must be the locker room prude in me, I remember back when we had PE in school and still had the communal shower in the girl's locker room none of us would take a shower because, noooo.

Other than that... OEKO was kind of SHITTY, the end. God I hope I passed... And my WU-Mitbeleger sache is fraught with OBSTACLES and DOOOM and THIS SHIT IS PISSING ME OFF. And shit, I better start getting myself ready if I am supposed to be at uni at 13.30 ahhhhhhhh D:

I will NEVER EVER EVER stop loving ~*Tidus and Yuna*~. And watching all the relevant FFX and X-2 FMVs only serves to reinforce and cement this thought in my mind. THEY ARE SO CUTE AND CHEESY AND HAPPY TOGETHER ahhhh it is almost too much ♥ ♥

Other than that, my days have been spent trying to study for the OEKO(Media Economy) exam that is coming up this tuesday... with uh, MIXED results, as I keep getting sidetracked by things like spending 4 hours ploughing through a 36 part Supernatural fic(SO FUCKING GOOD -->http://nilchance.livejournal.com/tag/of+bastard+saints) and so on. I am actually quite suprised by how hard I seem to have been hit by the SPN bug, though it might also be that I am saving many more fics to HD now then back when I was up to here in my HP reading frenzy. ...which actually reminds me that I should get around to ferreting up some of the classics again~~ Ahh.

Went and watched Disturbia with Carmen, Michi and Harry too... and damn, if that wasn't some effective suspenseful editing. You KNEW what was going to happen and still, once it did-- cue the ARRRRGH!!! effect XDD. Better movie than I expected and yaaay the previews were of Stardust and THE GOLDEN COMPASSS aaaaaaaah wanna watch that so bad. IOREK! DANIEL FUCKING CRAIG(although I could totally pass on the beard, wahh)! ETC!!! Also Stardust has Robert DeNiro as a fucking SKY PIRATE, which is like utter hilarity in itself already...
