Ninjas STILL can't catch you if you're on fire

First things first, another round of HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAAAAAAAY MY DARLINGS!!! to JENN AND KAT aka apple_scruffer and luscious_mangos aka MY TWO FAVORITEST FRUIT-RELATED LJ-NAME HAVING PEOPLE (WHO DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER BUT CLEARLY HAVE THE SAME B'DAY ON ACCOUNT OF BEING JUST THAT AWESOME) ON THE INTERWEBS. I eagerly await your wine-drenched posts already Jenn, and KAAAAT may you get healthy again soon by the time you read this! DON'T NEGLECT ME FOR CATCHING UP ON YOUR JE-FANDOM SQUEE, MISSY!

Today I overslept a bit for the Thai food festival that Carmen and I went to, but all's well that ends well and we got to have some delicious food, look at the stands and watch some random people get the Cliff Notes version of a Thai marriage ceremony. ...if it's their thing, I GUESS?? Olga, you should totally check it out for the food alone dude, it's on til the 9th! Their desserts are priced quite cheaply (5€ for a good serving), and clearly fresh and made-on-the-spot. Carmen had a simplified version of Khanom Chun/Chan, served with freshly grated coconut on top, which gives a slightly salty counter-taste to the sweetness of the dessert itself, and I had some delicious Foi Thong, om nom nom tasty golden eggy threads of delight! Suffice to say you can't really eat too much of these at once, as it is with most Asian desserts, but they were really good. The Ta-ko can also be recommended (tiny little squares of jelly and corn topped with coconut cream)! AND LASTLY-- would you guys be interested in a voice post of me saying random things in Thai/German/English? We could all do one each or something, lol basically I think it'd be cool to hear each others voices... If yesss, any requests? Lol I need things to say otherwise I'll end up rambling about god knows what. SPOILER ALERT: Whatever I end up talking about, "ach"s, "uh"s and "...jaaa"s will end up featuring extensively. And I might end up saying LOL out loud. Because I am that person who uses internet acronyms in my daily life. Yes.

And how it was so very uneventful! And how I failed to get anything vaguely related to schoolwork done, only barely cleaning my room and managing to speak to half of the people I intended to, online or otherwise. I DID get to sleep from 3AM till 1PM every day though, which was awesome...

Carmen, Michi and I are all going to blow off our courses tomorrow so that we might get around to (separately) study for PAED, but since the other two are probably going to wake up at a more early hour than noon and thus get more stuff done, perhaps I should also consider answering the sweet siren call of sleep. OR I could read some SPN fic. Decisions, decisions!

KAT I THOUGHT ABOUT YOU WHEN I SAW THIS. OTH @Go Fug Yourself lolol! (ALSO PLS EXPLAIN THAT LAST PIC TO ME :DDD)

...after more than two years(...has it been that long? Gawrsh), due to a collective effort between Dad and I, my king-size bed is now pushed to the far upper-left corner of my bedroom, which magically leaves me with a HELL OF A LOT MORE SPACE than what used to be there (since the bed was kind of SMACKDAB in the middle of the room). Colour me surprised and actually quite pissed off that we never thought of this earlier, as I can actually walk in my room now without hitting the bed or my cabinet or some other room fixture every second step!
KAT IT IS LIKE A WHOLE NEW PLACE maaan I gotta take some pics after I spruce things up a bit-- spent the whole afternoon tearing the place apart, dusting like a crazy woman(and discovering new colonies of empty gecko eggs yeaaaah >_>;;)... Flipping through my compulsively kept and decorated school agendas for 2002-2005 was kind of fun, especially the random input some people would scribble in and the fact that I'd basically abuse the homework planer as an impromptu diary. Which I uh, still do with my current ones ahahaha ^^. Also found a number of notebooks and sketchbooks and am again amused at my attempts at being 'deep and nearly emotastic' in some of them. I WROTE A POEM ABOUT THE COLOUR BLUE IN FIRST PERSON AND COMPARED IT TO MY FICTIONAL DEAD LOVER'S WATERBLOATED CORPSE ahahaahaha oh the SHAME. It was in one of the austro-summer hols notebooks though, so maaaybe that explains my emotional state a bit, lol. And okay more than half of the fics I had printed out in '02-03 are really aaaaaaaaaangsty.
So it seems I did have a teenaged waaah-phase, only subliminally experienced through fandom ...which I am quite thankful about in retrospect XDD

And as I am maaaybe meeting Patty again tomorrow and Migel I shall stop here and slowly go up and get me some beauty sleep.
