and yet I still can't sleep and it is currently 2.30AM or will be, and daaaamn it all to hell yesterday was the final nail in the coffin that is the death of a chance at a normal sleeping cycle before Vienna. Damn uni sign-ups that ended up being delayed til THREE AM BKK time, gaaaaaaah fuckers should know by now that the system crashes like clockwork this time of the year where about a thousand students log in at the same damn time. FUCKING UNI. Thank god I got into all of my first choices, though I am curious as to what they will do about the fact that we have ratios like 57 people signing up for a 30 max. only class. Not to mention the clusterfuck that was the AT-Hist sign-ups, with numbers like 76/35, 49/35 and the like. UGH UNI WIEN PKW FACULTY, YOU DUMBFUCKS ://

...so okay, I guess you are all catching me on an upswing! I spent the last few days furiously prepping for, and calling up various big ad agencies here for a summer internship (seriously, I googled the Top 10 worldwide agencies and just went through looking for their BKK offices. Lolol might as well aim high, eh??). Spent 9 hours today running around town, submitting my cover letter + CV and filling out some uh, very interesting application forms at Young & Rubicam, Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann Erickson and Leo Burnett. Have to go into town AGAIN tomorrow for a hastily on their part rescheduled interview with someone from Leo Burnett, third consecutive day on less that 5 hours sleep is goooooooo. BUT! I really hope the LB thing works out, because they are ~fantastic~ and I loved their office already from the moment I stepped into the threshold. Will still probably send off the requested email-only applications to Ogilvy and EURO RSCG on Monday too though, ONE CAN NEVER BE TOO SURE.

GOD I HOPE I GET IN. I CAN ALREADY SEE MYSELF DYING THIS SUMMER FROM THE STRESS, but oh myyyyyyyy just the thought of how my CV would look with an internship + certificate from one of these pimpin' agencies?? DREAM COME TRUUUUUUUUUE (part 1! Part 2 would actually be working their for cash money lolol)

I can probably thank my own shoddy work ethic and my subsequently fucked up sleep patterns that this February will not hold much rest and relaxation for me :| Also, I am apparently now addicted to naps, especially at 2PM and cannot function like a normal human being without them. I tried, oh did I ever try today, only to succumb to sleep's loving embrace at 5PM. IT'S LIKE I AM RELIVING MY CHILDHOOD.

We are now ensconced in our second set of digs, after a night spent at my aunt's, we are now chillaxing it up in this serviced apartment complex downtown, which is also pretty fine. Much more roomier than the hotel! The highlight of my day had to be the SUPERMARKET VISIT OF BRILLIANCE at Central Chidlom today though, GOD MY HEART. It is probably a sign of how, I dunno, intensely food fixated I am, but there are few things in life that can make me happier than wandering around a fully-stocked, well designed supermarket. OH THE THINGS YOU CAN BUY NOW. All this imported crap, it's fantastic-- it seems like we have basically the entire stock of the UK's Waitrose and M&S products, all these Japanese foodstuffs, more US/European candy than you can shake a stick at aaaaaaaaaaand FRUIT, GLORIOUS GLORIOUS FRUIT! From Japan, from Korea, and of course our own local beauties. Oh how I can't wait to have some Durian again when I'm at Dad's place OM NOM NOM ♥. ALSO thanks to the ice cream meme over at

In lieu of actually doing serious work today, I have managed to wash two whole loads of laundry (MY BEDSHEETS SMELL LIKE A FIELD OF FLOWERS NOW AHH BLISS), talk to both parental units and plan my BKK itinerary, upload all my audiobooks to my iTunes library (appaaaarently my ORIGINAL COPY of I am America (And So Can You!) isn't immediately recognized as an audiobook? Mmmkay) and rewatch all my downloaded fandom vids so far. Also, I found out that 80% of the course for next semester are online already and I have already pored over it for a good hour and made a tentative plan for the summer semester. NOW IF ONLY I WOULD GET THE STUFF DONE SO THAT I CAN PASS MY CURRENT CLASSES AND ACTUALLY ATTEND THESE WONDERFUL HYPOTHETICAL CHOICES *headdesk*.

OH WELL I STILL HAVE FOUR MORE DAYS UNTIL MY FINAL BAKK1 PP PRESENTATION 8DD (thank god the actual hand in date for the finished deal got stretched to the 13th of Feb lol).

SO these past few days, I have managed to:

♥ go to bed LATE AS FUCK (3AM-4AM baaaw), but also wake up LATE AS FUCK (1PM-2PM) so I hope this at least means my amount of sleep stored is somewhat back to normal. Thank god for long weekends! Now if only my L-esque eye-rings would go awaaay.

♥ marvel at the fact that the new Firefox is THE BESTEST THING EVER. I do not know what suddenly happened with this update, but I am now able to actually save things on the computer when I'm surfing without having to not touch anything on the browser for 5 seconds, lest everything suddenly hang and CRASH. EYES BURNING. But effing around youtube watching old clips of A Bit of Fry and Laurie, followed by random interview bits of whatever that feature Stephen Fry in any way talking at length about something (ALWAYS A PLEASURE), which is then followed by mainlining certain celeb guest appearances at the Jonathan Ross Show (DANIEL CRAIG! DAVID TENNANT AND CATHERINE TATE! JOHN BARROWMAN! DANIEL RADCLIFFE! The RDJ bits that I basically know by heart now! ETC ETC) and then rounded off by discovering that some wonderful, wonderful soul has posted some entire eps of Due South, the RayK era, well-- SO FUCKING AWESOME. I love the internet so much ♥. And of course, the evening started out with the latest episode of Dexter and Gossip Girl, both which are exceedingly fabulous. So looking forward to next week's alreadyyyyyyy, gnaaagh!

Thankfully the class is such a damn cakewalk that I can just skim the articles we have to read and still ace it, but still. Should use this time to get other shit done arrrrrgh. ALSO I feel like I am coming down with something. Or at least like something has crawled into my throat to DIE. Is this time-delayed sickness from the impromptu shower at the EM-watching?? :(

Joseph Gordon-Levitt's performance is simply stunning (I was just transfixed by his every scene appearance... boy sure grew up nice after Third Rock From the Sun!) and I am now seriously curious about how his role in Brick was.

__'Little Sparrow (studio version)' ...David Cook of American Idol S7 fame has retroactively fascinated me. Have spent far too much time checking out the studio versions of all his songs on AI and besides the aforementioned beautiful cover of the Dolly Parton song, 'Always Be My Baby' is one of my favorites, too. Such a creative reinterpretation of a Mariah Carey song~ Ooh or even 'Dare you to Move' or the 'Hero' duet he had with David Archuleta... Cook just has this really great voice and I am hereby a fully converted fan and thus totally psyched that he ended up winning lol (Jason WAS cute, but David Cook has that (AND NO DREADLOCKS!!) too AND a way better voice. Dude can siiiiing *_*bb).

Met with Phil earlier today though, and it was a lovely chat over coffee that was made even more lovelier by the fact that he actually got me a belated birthday present and a really sweet letter-message thing. So now I am the joyful and proud owner of some Lindt chocolate, A LARGE BOTTLE OF MOZART CHOCOLATE CREAM GOLD LIQUOR ....and a mini gold-colored mechanical MANEKI NEKO!!!!!! KLAjdh kafshjkah SO. ...I was late to a party yesterday (@Michelle's, got a lovely belated b'day present from her, Elli and Clara-- Starbucks tumblers ftw) because I was so involved in reading EPIC fic about Iron Man. And the Avengers. But mostly about Iron Man and Captain America and their EPIC LOVE for each other. I started out with searching for some movie-verse centered fic, but somehow landed on the comic-verse pages and well, after reading THIS ship manifesto, I was sure as hell $$SOLD$$ on the idea of the pairing.

Cue 6 hours give or take of last night that I count as intensely well spent reading "Resurrection, Reconstruction and Redemption" and its sequel "Readjustment" (eventhough I kind of hated myself at 4AM and had to force myself to go to bed XD), as well as "The Roughest Day", another Cap/Iron Man novella I spent the past two or three hours reading just now.

MUST force myself to veer back into uni stuff in an hour or so, I mean-- I doubt the P+L I skipped this morning will really make a difference in the way I suck at it already, but I really should do some other work at least!

After MUCH waffling to and fro and canceling and reconfirming, it looks like good ol' Vienna will be graced with the presence of Mr. Sven G. after all, as he will be visiting his buddy here and we'll be using the chance for a little impromptu mini-reunion. And some partying (dragging Carmen along, uhuhu), with nothing fix yet but it will apparently be something fancy-schmancy? :D?
Man, am I ever so happy I signed OFF for the THEO exam I would have had on monday, now only 3000 words to type for STEP3 until next friday(*SOB*) and the KPOL exam(ALSO ON FRIDAY *DEAD*) to go!

Instead of sleeping and waking up refreshed and sparkly the next morning/few hours, I am rereading some epic HP fics. Which, as I should know by now, can't actually be breezed through in two hours. Ahh!

Today in the cool Soziologie class, my hot eye-candy boy AKA Mr. 49 truly shocked and appalled me by 1.) actually sitting in the front row area away from us (and to make matters even more frustrating, I didn't even have a clear view of the back of his lovely curl-topped head because there were some idiots in the way :|) AND 2.) SITTING (and talking) WITH SOME GIRL. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo~! He was always a loner before! Argh! My sleep schedule continues to remain fucked up and I actually have more prominent rings under my eyes now, which is just Not A Cool Way to start off a new semester.
Speaking of that too, am also in the middle of formulating my schedule and aaargh it's all dependant on such a varied number of things, like random ass lecture locations(DIFFERENT TOWN DISTRICTS fuck you Institution of Translation Sciences wtf is my Communications Theory lecture held there???), funky early morning asscrack times and WU-Wien Mitbeleger shenanigans. At the very least my STEP3(SECOND TRY LOL) thing is done, got into one of our newly restricted 4 from 30 choices and am in the same group as Clemens and Wido. THREE HOURS THOUGH. Achhh.

And uh, I signed up for KARATE classes once a week with Carmen, starting this Wednesday. I KNOW, ME AND SPORT?? But I hope it'll turn out to be fun, shame the Taekwondo courses were all booked out...

There is other stuff that is currently beyond me atm and will be added to later, I guess? The music I am listening to is depressing me, though I think that is more the fact of OEKO EXAM TUESDAY DOOM that actually sad-feelings on my part.

...am currently muddling my way through the esteemed academic institution of Bullworth Academy, AKA I have started to break in my copy of Bully: Canis Canem Edit on the PS2. My first verdict? FUUUUUUN, but with vaguely confusing controls and a map that makes me wish I bought the walkthrough booklet(must remedy this!). I kind of am fond of Jimmy already, and have also already purchased some new clothes for him so that he/I might be more successful in macking on the ladies( ..and guys I hear? Must further investigate this possibility). Have been to all my 'classes' so far and am steadily beating bullies up and maybe the occasional nerd when it strikes my fancy. Keep getting busted by Prefects, though :/

Other than that I slept for far too long today, even with a bedtime at 1AM which ISN'T THAT LATE, which made waking up at 3.30PM today all the more confusing. Then I forgot to take my antihistamines, which meant the rest of today was/is spent sneezing and generally feeling kinda shitty. Dog must be exceptionally dusty today I guess?

I am HORRENDOUSLY unprepared for Step6, Step4 and Sozial Psychologie II next week though. And I have to be awake in six hours for the latter's last session and also need to wash my hair as I will be death warmed over later in this morning. :/

Had a delicious dinner followed by DVD watching at my place with Clemens tonight~ Pasta with cream sauce and prawns and artichoke hearts with a lovely italian white wine aaaaand dessert: choco pudding interspersed with forest berries premade by yours truly earlier during the day. :D Dude better have appreciated my culinary attempts XDD Cooking really is more fun when you're not alone ♥
The DVD of the night was 'Ali' and I was pleasantly suprised at how awesome it was, especially the soundtrack. Fantastic music and Will Smith was great in his role!

Spoiled myself for the end of Honey and Clover yesterday and jeeeesus shit when I was watching that scene from the anime version on Youtube the TEARS were rolling down my eyes like kajfhkjfh aaaaah HURTS SO GOOD.
