I CAN SEE THE LIGHT
Sep. 26th, 2007 01:51 amIN THE VORZIMMER. Which is something that hasn't been happening for uh, a few months at least, so mucho thanks to Olgaaa for working her Ma-connections magic!!
That kind of had the day off to a good start and this continued when I met Harry for lunch at the Cafe Schottenstift and we then proceeded to talk, talk, talk, PAUSE TO EAT, and then talk some more. Then we went for a looong walk to the Steffel, down Kärtner Straße and back and uh, talked some more. We got our Semester-tickets(130 euros owwwwww) and talked during the wait in line, too. This was followed up by deciding to go to the Mariahilferstraße to eat some delicious ice cream and wait for it... we did NOT walk there, but we talked during the U-bahn ride, of course. And so on and so forth until at one point we realised it was suddenly nearly 6PM XDD.
So it was really a fully productive day spent with him and hee am all uptodate on the gossip on that front of things now and it was also nice to see how we were on the same page on a lot of things :D.
On the way back home I decided to stop by the MC to buy me a Guitar Hero controller(MUST HAVE ONE), only to be thwarted by Saturn's dastardly no-credit card accepting policy, which I must have pushed out of my mind and aaargggh, didn't have enough money on my bankomat card :( ...and even so, the controllers here are ridiculously expensive ...50 euros is the cheapest one!! Why the hell was I so convinced I saw one for 20 euros somewhere?? Must have hallucinated it, sadly.
AND THEN I WENT TO THE IPKW WEBSITE and that just fucking pissed me off all over again, because daaaaamn why isn't the Uni capable of not being such a shit in their organization skills? Now because of the stupid and complicated with added dabs of confusing selection process they have going on with the freshies that start this Wintersemester (1300 for 900 spots), I am now forced to choose from four STEP3 course offerings, as opposed to the THIRTY that should be my fucking right. Which is just plain retarded and arrrrgh inducing, especially when considering that 3 of these 4 courses run twice the length of a normal STEP3 session and the last option is a 5 fucking hour marathon on a Sunday. Because oooooh nooo the flood of freshies?? They should have implemented some kind of fucking quota system or something in regards to the online Anmeldesystem. Gaah, so much for my carefully selected Baumgartner STEP3 plan ...>:/
