Ninjas STILL can't catch you if you're on fire

Before I head off to at least spend an hour doing TOEFL prep (AHH FAILED TODAY, FAILED SO HARD), have a link to something that can be classified as extremely good, yet should also come with a healthy warning, seeing as I have been reduced to full on bawling and weird-crampy faces OF SADNESS every time I watch it.

...I guess I am happy I didn't see this movie in theaters after all, because my reaction in the end wouldn't have been pretty and would have probably freaked out the other people sitting next to me. I am a total dog person anyways, and an utter sucker for stories about dogs being loyal and loving their family and people so damn much and ajkakasfj. I admit that just reading the freaking wikipedia page for Hachiko and other similar tales are enough to make my eyes well up already.

SO CONSIDER THIS A WHOLE-HEARTED RECOMMENDATION, THROUGH MY VEIL OF TEARS *sniff*

Have plowed through all 122 chapters of Skip Beat available so far over the last 2 days and OMG NO WONDER THE WEEKEND WENT BY SO FAST. This is high quality FUNFUNFUN shoujo as it should be, with a kickass heroine(KYOUKO AND HER INNER-DEMON SPIRITS AND EVIL LOOKS LOL) and a great leading man(REEEEN), who even though he is burdened by the cliche-tastic tall(seriously, the proportions in this manga are WHACK), dark and handsome character design trope, manages to be a really interesting dude in his own right. I was squeeing and gushing and sighing all throughout reading this, and if this were a manga I could have actually held in my hands, I sure as hell would have been cackling like a crazy bitch and rolling around on my bed at the same time, THAT'S how fun reading this has been! Will continue to watch Kyoko act her heart out like a pro and interact with the other characters for many more chapters yuss yuss :Dbb
This is what onemanga says about the plot: "Kyoko Mogami followed her true love Sho to Tokyo to support him while he made it big as an idol. But he's casting her out now that he's famous! Kyoko won't suffer in silence--she's going to get her sweet revenge by beating Sho in show biz!"

Other manga recently read there include: Hana Yori Dango(FINALLY! And oh my god it is SO EPIC O3Ob), Shinshi Doumei Cross(super shoujotastic fun once I could finally distinguish the different character O Tanemura-sensei this always happens to me with your work >_>;;), some Tenjou Tenge(LOL o man how Oh Great!'s art changes for the better) and the recent bits of XXXHolic

I meant to do something else, probably be all productive for uni and all, but then I reread 'Good Together' AND IT BROKE MY HEART ALL OVER AGAIN. Waaargh, Asapin TAT. Was hungering for moooar afterwards, but shame that 95% of the rest of the Karekano fics on FFNet continue to kind of well, suck. But I guess it's one of these fandoms that don't actually leave much room or give an urge for fic-writing? I remember being on Rhoddlet(of HP fic fame)'s webpage once and seeing a Karekano section on her fic page and there was this ficlet that featured the trio? Or referenced to Asaba's interest in Arima and I wanted so badly to click it but the link was incorrect or something like that, and I was so very bummed, heh. It is obviously one of the great fic losses that will forever haunt me, much like how I wish Rage Point's "On Moonlight's Leash"(HP AU, what-if James Potter didn't survive coming between Snape and Werewolf!Remus during the night of the Prank and the rippling effects this would have had on everybody. Super gritty and very noir-ish and exceedingly awesome) was a)continued and b)still be able to be found in some form on the Internets. Ahh :(.
But back to Karekano-- got around to reading some of the later volumes again and besides admitting to myself that I was kind of let down by the later bits/the end resolution, I was also kind of sad to note how Masami Tsuda's art style seemed to be getting blander and blander. Could hardly tell some of the characters apart and I must say that the 'not showing the eyes of a character because the ANGST/undefinable emotion is so strong' tick is fine and dandy, but not when it's executed as such that it looks more like the mangaka forgot to fill in the eyes. So I guess the point of this blather is that I will always love Karekano with a fierce love, Yukino, Arima and Asaba are just such great and lovable and interesting characters-- but my selective-perception shutters fall after around the halfway point of the manga, with certain scenes in the end being well and good, yet. I always wonder how it all would have been shown in the anime version, had it not sputtered off and died in the end a la GAINAX...

Gnaaargh how the day passes by so quickly! And me with all my unsorted thoughts and thingamajigs I wanted to post, posts to reply to (KAAAAAT I shall get back to youuu twofold! but um not noww DD:) ...ahh some can wait for tomorrow/coherancy I say!

Another thing that has been rocking my boat recently is another Ryuuken/Rikuou CFUD (smut) AU ...They moved up from 'just' kissing, guh so HOT (and IC!!!11). Man I swear if they ever move up to fullblown sex I shall possibly make bats deaf with my gleeful squeaking eeeeeeee-noises ♥ ♥

`Twas quite a lovely reward after dealing with the constant assery that is getting ones laundry done here(bedsheets, double wargh!) ... I mean, have finally figured out the key to getting the washmachines to work is to just stubbornly keep pressing the ON button til the damn thing decides to get it's ass into gear(was srsly poking it for 5 or more mins, v melodious 'beepbeepbeepBEEPBEEEPMOTHERFUCKINBEEEPbeep beep KACHING ...fucking finally!!' etc etc), but this time the dryer decided to uh, not actually do it's job 100%, so now I have about six shirts hanging around out tiny cramped bathroom and my jeans crammed over my heater on high--- very ghetto dryer of me, yessh I know >_>;;

Oh and I got to eat Sabrina's quite tasty leftovers(some kinda rice and curry thing with coconut milk and prawns, ahhh the flavours of Asiaa), quite right actually, since she kinda used MY POT to cook it in... Tcha, my pot is just that awesome~

...I LOVE dance movies, I am not ashamed to admit this. There are few things more fun to watch than a well choreographed battle, fight or dance scene, and this flick had loads of the last ♥

And 'Step Up'?

BEST DANCE MOVIE EVER SO FAAAR --the main couple(Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan) were adorable and had great chemistry together unlike in 'Save the Last Dance'(...also I hated Julia Stiles' character there kjashfkj WHINY BITCH ergh!), and I actually cared about the characters unlike in 'Honey' or that one Antonio Banderas one(... the threesome tango scene in that one was HOT tho) ....AAAAND there was more dancing than other 'RL' scenes of the characters, because jeez, who watches dance movies for the plot anyway? It's all the same crap formula in the end.

But this movie was actually funny and they made a great choice casting people who could actually DANCE, even if at first I felt like I was watching a poor man's version of Wentworth Miller(Prisonbreak dude) and Cameron from House M.D getting it on, they really grew on me(even with crappy german synchro! man Channing Tatums real voice is kinda cuuute). Channing Tatum is a really cute guy tho, he apparently was in 'She's the Man' too? And when you image google him there are many nice pics of him scantily clad as well~ (even if this is kinda wtf-inducing lol CHIKN)

GO WATCH IT IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY~~ ♥ ♥

MY FINAL VERDICT: GOOD TIMES, will buy and rewatch AGAIN AND AGAIN :D

Got to watch the first ep just now and daaamn, if I thought the manga was good, the anime takes that and just transports the series into a whole other realm of Awesomeness. ...and I do prefer the chara design of the anime, so nice ♥! Seeing Tamaki animated and talking is icing on the cake too~

The entire 8 eps so far are all up on YouTube, surfing a bit should get them.

__EP 1 : Part ONE; Part TWO and Part THREE!

It's barely 10.20PM and already my traitorous body is signifying that it's tired. Wtf I had 4+1 bushour hours sleep yesterday. ...Sleep issues...fading? Nooo when would I get my homework done if not in the dead of night?! woes

The Geschi/History crew in class(basically all of us minus chris haaa) were so braindead today. And with good cause to be so aswell- THE THREE HOUR GESCHI ARBEIT IS OVEEER yessss!!!
There was a moment, when I was sitting in front of the paper, reading the heading "Vorpruefung fur Maturitaetsnote" and THEN it dawned... "shit, this is actually important...maybe i should've cracke the books more! Ahahaha, think I did okay though, wrote a hell of a lot (ten pages) that's for sure! There were three topics to chose two from: Persecution of the Jews, Potsdamer Conference and Yugoslawian war. Took one and three, one was easy enough, but three...(two drew a blank with me->"potsdamer whut? wasnt that the text with the funny anecdotal bits? what were the key points again? stalin smoked cigars? shit that can't be it *neeext*")
Bullshitted my way through explaining how military intervetion must be justified. Hope Crot buys it..!

11th graders also weren't there these two days- doing some sort of shite up in Korat, no idea. Was actually nice and quiet without them here and I liked that the entire class hung out in the breaks together for a change... Now if only we can convince Marco and Chris to come to their own fucking PROM, things'll be juuust fine! Because 3 out of a class of 5 showing up at the prom- specially when we have hosting and shit duty? Not cool.

Otherwise: Lucifer's Call and internet again team up to redeem any crap school day for me- Have beat the boss at Kabukicho Prison and am cruising along nicely, Johannes is beginning to feel the heat, ahaha less than ten levels seperate us! And my beasties would so pwn his! Mwahaha
CFUD keeps getting better and better- the Sanzou-Ikkou is now complete! Ahaha Goyjo you're so screwed~~
And the Naru-Sasu interaction there is awesome. For a zombie camp RP- CFUD has fucking SOLID charcterisations ♥
