Here are some pictures from Chua Fa Din Salai! SUCH GLORIOUS COSTUMING. I am somewhat depressed that I will probably have to watch it by myself though ughhh maybe Esara will still be in town then? Or I can somehow convince I or D to sit through what is probably 2 hours with no English subs. ....Yeah okay, probably not.

So the most rabid, ALLCAPS part of my glee has simmered down towards something more manageable, but I am still filled with warm fuzzies that the Mannschaft managed to pull together an awesome win in a seriously thrilling game against Uruguay. I am happy we managed to get third place, though part of me still wonders about the what-ifs of the game against Spain and what could have been. But! This has been a fantastic tournament showing and I am confident that these dudes will continue to improve and kick some everloving ass at the EM12 and the WM14 ♥ ALSO, IF MUELLER DOESN'T WIN BEST YOUNG PLAYER THERE IS SOMETHING DEEPLY WRONG ABOUT THE WORLD. This guy! Same goes for Neuer as goalie, because he was amazing~ (I MIGHT BE BIASED tho ahem ahem). And of course I am hoping for the other nominated German players to win big, Schweini throughout all this time has especially become FLAWLESS, AMAZING, AWESOME AND SO ON AND SO FORTH to me <3333 Still sad about Klose not getting his chance to play and try to crack Ronaldo's record though. Hang in there Miro, and stay fit enough for the EM at least, you hear??

...of all the episodes to watch on Lis and Nathalie's new HD giant flatscreen, this one with the MALE MODEL CASTING WOOO was certainly one of the best. Dudes stripping! Parading around in skimpy bathing costumes! The myriad examples of male fashion (hot and not)!

The reason for the casting was to get the four guys who would star in next year's German Cosmopolitan calendar, and here are the final four with the hosts of the mini-segment, Sarah and Gina-Lisa (I hope you all treasure my helpful annotations):

...Those two are seriously HOT HOT HOT. Dude to the left is Jojo and tall, dark and RIPPED next to him is Flo. Hot damn how we (or at least Carmen and I) were rooting for our favorites to get in and spending lots of time avidly discussing the pros and cons of the various other dudes who didn't make it that far. HIGHLY enjoyable :DD

...okay no, actually not-- this is just the INSANELY CREEPY fake Rottweiler statue that my Dad's secretary got him as a wedding gift. We put it in the living room for a day and it collectively creeped out the entire house (it was like 'why is Nero in a bow? Oshi-- no *doubletake*') so it is now shunted off IN EXILE aka the maid's room or somewhere out in the back.

...and I would post a picture of my newest fascinating bruise from Karate sparring training, but I guess it's not something that should be inflicted on the internets. Or maybe later. Suffice to say that it is at least 15-20 cms long and about 5-8 cms in length and in varying red to purplish colours. Georg and co. were very suprised to see it when we were in Lecture and group consensus is that I look like a victim of domestic abuse. O-okaaay XDD. I am rather amused by it though, and I never did figure I'd bruise easily. And hey, as long the hurts from Karate restrict themselves to NOT IN THE FUCKING FACE I am totally a-okay with it. Wonder if the dude I was sparring against(who asked me later if I had done martial arts before, as I was more 'offensively active than all the other girls'...sounded like he was looking for a polite way to say 'why are you such a crazy violent chick' heh) has some bruises too?

Am heading off to Ma's for the weekend tomorrow, so I figured I'd post some of the utterly lovely eyecandy pictures I found when I was spending far too much time lj-hopping. Homework? BAH, I tell you!

Also go to watch Pride and Prejudice finally (quality of the dvd wasn't even that bad!) and ahhh, my reaction to this can be only appropiately described with *handclasp and squeeee* ♥! I was shamefully giggling everytime Mr. Darcy and Eliza were in the same room and oh! the trials and tribulations before everything resolved itself! The ending seemed a bit abrupt though- the last scene couldn't've just been Mr. Bennet in his study? My inner romance-fangirl demanded to watch a sickeningly happy wedding scene!
Watching Keira Knightly in this movie really made me realize that she is quite beautiful. Very delicate features and wow, neck like a swan/ballet dancer or whatever you compare elegant necks to. Eventhough I probably would've preferred Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy- New!Darcy was also quite appealing to look at. Loved his haughty emotional-retard hiding a heart of gold ways~ (and the actor quite resembles a young Clive Owen in certain shots, mhh)And what a smile he had ♥

Also- reading Pride&Prejudice a la Pierre copies just sucks. Now that on page 300something I am actually interested in the outcome of Miss Eliza Bennet and Mr. Darcy, over 50% of the pages is in absolutely shite quality. Why my damn school cannot spring for REAL BOOKS instead I do not know. D:
"Homo Faber" by Max Frisch is ...well. Mreh would be an accurate description of what I feel towards it. "Andorra" war zumindenst besser, nyatch. Still have to read "die Physiker" by Friedrich Duerrenmatt aswell. And the myriad of other stuff on my list...

I hereby end the somewhat longer than expected semi-hiatus of moi with that beautiful beautiful quote from this very awesome website of Top Thirty Random Vin Diesel Facts. Fuuuunny~, even moreso to me beacuse it's 3AM and yay for that!
The day was spent lolling about and net/LJ-surfing, where I managed to amass quite some interesting stuff~ and yah, ze House fic pimp post for Kat is in it's making *fufufufuuu*

The days before today were well spent though- Hardcore Harry Potter orig(!!! the extraaaaas~! Yes) DVD Fest' Years One to Four plus basically all of House (ahaha a Hugh Laurie semi-fangirl convert is Kat *success*!) during the days before Xmas eve. Xmas eve was spent asleep until four pm due to previous all-nighter w/ aforementioned daaarling Kat(we made it scoore) and playing Lucifer's Call. Finished Asakusa and popped by the Labyrinth of Amala for attempts at the first and second Kalpa. Got hopelessly lost, although managed to snag the 250'000 macca for doing the cursed hallway thing in the second. *Fist pump!*
Christmas day was lunch-dinner hybrid at Ma's place, where Andy prepared OBSCENE amounts of food- Turkey, Peas and gravy, sweet potato something, plus enough brownies and cookies to feed an army. Think we had fun though, and Kat and I throughly abused my shiny new phone's camera, which is pretty and girly and gold and has sexy flowers and is the EPITOME OF AWESOME. (Nokia 7360 check it, yo)

I also got to see my cousins totally abuse the two Ultraman figurines I gave them aswell. Man, poor Ultraman Taro, getting "castrated" AND Batista-bombed all in the same day(and we watched wrestling too yess :D). Never thought Sea(cousin numero two, 5? years) would be so eviiil~ :O
